@dlowan,
Yes, I can walk using a walker. They hope to move me to a cane soon.

@Izzie,
Richard slept until mid-afternoon. He's only now realizing how terribly sick he's been

@dlowan,
Little fly in the ointment...came down with what Richard had...bronchitis we think...and am on antiobitics, confined to bed and forbidden to do any of my exercises. The new joint is vulnerable to infection. This sucks.

@dlowan,
Much better today. Less congestion. I am now free to shower, which makes a huge difference in your life outlook.

@dlowan,
Physical therapist was here today and resumed exercises. She says I'm still on the four week recovery plan. I didn't lose any ground being sick. Tomorrow is the last day for our nursing assistant. We have gotten quite attached to her. She has been an unbelievable help to us.

@mags314772,
Been following your progress, mags.
Very relieved that the bronchitis was not the set-back it could have been. Phew.
Sounds like things are right back on track for you.
Very good to hear. Smile

mags, have we met? I feel that I could have offered a considerable amount of solace during your ordeal and am saddened that I have arrived so late in the game. Call my name during times of distress. I can help.

@msolga,
Bronchitis is abated. I got antibiotics very quickly. My home health care aide left this evening. Very teary farewell. She took such good care of me. My husband is well and ready to take over my care.
