@OmSigDAVID,
You remember wrong there was a machine recount not a hand recount before the SC got involved.

There was no way to know how a hand recount would had gone that is why Bush team block it from happening.

At least Bush men was not sure how a complete hand recount would had gone.

No. There were several re-counts b4 the USSC got involved.
Gore just wanted to keep counting and RE-counting and more ` re-counting
and DON'T STOP re-RE-COUNTING until eventually, thru clerical error, he wins and THEN stop counting IMMEDIATELY.

The Democrats' definition of when to stop counting
is when Gore wins.

@OmSigDAVID,
Sorry David you are wrong as I was living and voting in Miami at the time.

I even got to watch on the local news as Cubans supporters of Bush form a mob and pounded on the doors of the rooms where the votes was being recounted.

Kind of tee me off at the time that Cubans who came here in the name of freedoms would be willing to stop the counting of ballots by mob actions.

@BillRM,

Sorry, Bill you are rong as I was living and voting in NY at the time
and listening and watching the news very, very intently,
several times an hour on the radio.

I disagree with u.
In the end, Gore admitted it.

I notice that u did not try to refute the findings of the newspapers who re-counted.
That woud have been a bigger story than OJ,
if thay 'd found that Gore had won. Thay did not.

I will ADMIT that Gore 'd have won
IF he had carried his home state of Tenn.,
but he lost it because of his support of gun control, as Clinton admitted.

Gore admitted it too.
