Travis is a great kid, he won't be homeless or get in any other dim predictions you have for him. Stop your utter nonsense! You're more deranged and sick than Hogan's goat.

A back up plan to staying with mom is critical.....she has already chosen the man over her kid, at some point the check from the state will not be enough to want the kid at home, a happy man will be worth more to her. The kids who leave home usually dont have to leave, they do it because they can no longer tolerate being not wanted and the stress of living where they are not wanted ....that is absolutely where Travis is headed.

@TravisCQ,
I haven't read posts re past this one - but in at least some states, if you are thirteen, you can choose where to live.
I'm not an attorney. Check this out re your state.

Ah that's where the wind blows, so your mom wants you back so she can
receive assistance for you. Pretty rotten. I think when you're 14 you can
decide if you want to continue living with your aunt, in the meantime try
to stay put.
Yes, check the age on that.

I'm back with my aunt but it is temporary until the hearing. My aunt scheduled a court date and I have to talk to the judge and tell him where I want to live.
Glad to hear it. You’re old enough to make the decision where you want to live and if you’re happy living with your aunt then stay put. Come back more often and keep us posted!

@TravisCQ,
Good! Hopefully the judge will understand where you are coming from and the difficulty of being in the home with the stepfather. Seeing as how your aunt is willing to look out for you, I can't see why anyone would be objectioning.
