Almost none, which is why it is not a viable option. Travis might have some shot at getting what he wants if he can prove abuse, but it does not sound like he can. I remain convinced that sometime soon he will decide to strike out on his own, will decide that being on the streets is a better option than is remaining in his home situation. What he needs is an advocate in the family who can put his mother in her place, get her to back down, but it does not appear that he has that. Trying to get the state to help is very long odds, they have a much chance of putting him in an even worse situation than he is in now as they do in offering help.
