@reasoning logic,
Not really, but it did not bother me, for she took care of me at a VERY important time in my life, and I took care of her, with my mother the last 3 years of her life...

But I do not understand what any of this means?? Are you saying your fiance looks like this??

Really? Cause I am fascinated how some atheists claim to live off of math and probabilities, and science, but do not understand that when they study quantum's (they get into things so ridiculous such as the string theory) and "think" that just because the problem is worked out, means that they are right, and there are nine dimensions of space, with one pulling all the gravity, so ours isn't so bad...
Its "Quanta" (but why argue format, my spelling is atrocious and I have no excuse for its better production values).

You are completely all fucked up on the point about "Working it out" If ypoud truly understand quanttum equipment (Like MAss Spectrometry), the machinery operates at the quantum "entanglement " level. All readings are approximate values with limits of
detection
accuracy
confidence intervals.
If our errors are "factored in" we acknowledge existence of lower levels of non-confidence. BUT they really dont matter that an atom can be in two places at the same time.(ITS WITHIN THE MARGINS OF ERROR).
Try to say that about religion and Abrahams myths.

Oh yeh, scientists are really dumbfounded when confronted with a man named Jesus.
Are you shittin me?
Whata pile of crap that is. Whens the last time Jesus computed the age of a rock or calculated the amount of TCDD in your drinking water?

What is the purpose of us being born with hair, and losing it? (most men, and some women, included)

who says there is a purpose? you? There is a hormonal / morphological feedback response in most of our bodily fnctions. We still are a species that is developing to pass on genes. Once the optimal ages of gene passing are past, we begin to decline physically and otherwise. There are many response feedback mechanisms (men lose hormonal production at a predictable rate ) In the pongid'hominid days, we died before the consequences of aging presented themselves in abunndance. Nowadays we are able to artificially sustain post breeding life and we observe these many feedbacks. Does it have anything to do with evoltion? I have no ide and never gave it much thought because its a feedback that is artificially observable.

let me break it down...We were hominids, with a lot of hair...we will look like aliens do in the future...almost no hair...
You DO realize that the pictures of aliens are more responding to the talents of science FICTION researchers than those of science

That is how we all start to look as we get older. That is a part of being proportionate.

If that is the kind of **** that tickles your fancy! I'd prefer someone with intelligence speaking about ethics, and morality...because that kind of **** is important to me!

If aliens are real, what do you believe they look like?...If aliens are different than what people describe...IN ABDUCTIONS....What do you believe those cases are?? Do you DISMISS every abduction case, where they describe aliens, similar but different to what this "so called" science fiction has invented??

I thought I would respond first with an insult. I win this time. Now, as to whether I am intelligent enough to spar and parry with you abot this "Deep subject" < Im still fascinated that you invoke intelligence as a prerequisite to "being dumbfounded by the name of Jesus" Its almost a counter proposition in my mind. Jesus is a matter of faith. Faith requires no intellect at all. It is , after all, belief without proof. Proof requires some smarts at least.

Now we are engaging in the typpe of argument that Frank Apisa loves. Without sending a clear choice you invoke that you dont know that aliens are real (1) and that you dont know what they look like(2). SO therefore, on the very gronds of logic, youre "hair v loss of hair" question is kinda specious. It sounds reasonable but is fraught with misinformation and its very basis of proposition.

Why not? ALL the abduction cases have one thing in common, NO EVIDENCE AT ALL, no pix, no hunks of alien, nothing. Whats to believe in a rational world. In a faith based world I can see where one persons tall tale gets formalized and codified into doctrinal "Revealed truths". Same thing with aliens. Popular literature claims that the aliens were seen for centuries , yet the "gray and silver bug eyed hairless aliens with the almond shaped faces", all grew from several stories started by journalists in the 1960's. Is it easy to believe that theyre lying?? why not?. Journalistic "Honesty" is always being tested in our news media.

Really?? What does this mean to you then?? What is a miracle??

John 5:36 "I have testimony weightier than that of John. For the very work that the Father has given me to finish, and which I am doing, testifies that the Father has sent me.

John 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad."

John 8:58 "I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!"

John 10:37 Do not believe me unless I do what my Father does.

John 10:38 But if I do it, even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father."

I win this time, and have been! Wink Wink Cool

What a ridiculous argument indeed! So then tens of thousands experiences are bullshit, because farmerman hasn't seen them? that is indeed a small circle, or bubble you live in, my friend!...

Have you ever seen with your eyes the sun coming up in Australia, while you are in America?? Do you believe the sun does not come up??

Have you ever actually seen George Washington with your own two eye balls? Why would you "trust books" on the fact he was real? Why do you NOT hold the same values with other books?? etc...

If you believe aliens exist, there is NO REASON for accounts by the tens of thousands to ALL BE BULLSHIT, and made up!!! If that is the case, why would these people invent such bullshit? who is orchestrating it all??

Good response.

You may "think" it is good, because it sounds appealing but it is not true...

Lets say there are in our universe ten other planets that sustain life...If their planet was not exactly like ours was, in proposition to the sun etc...and they did not evolve the exact same way we did...then they would not look like we do....If they lived in hotter climates, they would have less hair...if they lived in colder climates, they would have more hair...If they lived, and evolved from flies, they would probably have very big, and advanced eyes...If they lived on a water planet, then they would look like dolphins, or have fins, or gills etc...

This is what you evolution says, not me...

It is heart warming to think they look like us...But the odds are that they do not!

Which pro ports that aliens that come here, are real, and from another planet where they evolved from, that they look like they do...

And that tens of thousands of people are not making **** up...Nor are their stories bullshit!

If his argument is invalid, then the best way to contradict this argument is to provide at least a single case where the evidence is overwhelming to the point where a skeptical person would have no logical option but to accept the events as fact. I won't hold my breath on that though...

This leads me to believe that you have difficulty differentiating what is proven through facts and evidence, and what is not proven through facts and evidence and is just mere hearsay, the ravings of a mad person, or just someone trying to feed people a spoonful of crap.

Not to sound mean or condecending or anything but did your IQ drop or something in the last week or so in my absence? The level of intellect in which you seem to be bringing to this discussion now is...well to be perfectly honest, pathetic as if your just throwing out crap just it put something out there. As far as your previous hair loss question, it's not specifically known, but speculations are that it either what farmerman said previously here: http://able2know.org/topic/176688-128#post-4938489 or what found soul speculated at. That it's a social feature to convey wisdom and maturity. If these speculations aren't good enough for you then please humor me with your explaination.

I honestly don't see the point in any of this. Believe me, I love what if questions more than just about anyone but this discussing about what extraterrestrials may look like is ridiculously obnoxious. Perhaps in a different universe where the laws of physics are radically alterered life forms manifest themselves in gaseous states? Discussing this can go on forever and end up no where.

Billions of people are currently making up crap about their religion, why can't the same be said about people who claim to be abducted by aliens? I personally treat alien abductions the same as religious experiences, while I cannot completely deny them all, I realize that none of them are proven through facts, and a majority of them are disproven. With that track record in mind, I view alien abductions skeptically and give it no credibility.
