I am a Born-Again Christian and I am a generation older that he is. We have nothing in common.
I assume you're referring to jcboy and not to Eldridge Cleaver.
The two of you have your humanity in common.
All I was saying was that a single individual can't possibly represent the group of which he happens to be a member. The single person who hurt me more than anyone else in my life was a clinical psychologist whom my parents decided I should see when I was an eighth grader. Due to his egregious incompetence coupled with his arrogance, he hurt me more than anyone else in my life. (He also did a number on my mom and dad, and insulted my sister because he was a sexist jerk.) And that includes any of the bullies who physically assaulted me when I was younger (including once being pushed out of a school bus window while the bus was moving). He (the psychologist, that is) happens to be Jewish; but I've always been opposed to anti-Semitism. Hey, I'm sure that a lot of other Jews would say that he was a jerk. That's all that I meant.
