Lots of things are sins. The bible says we all sin. Check it:

"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" - Rom 3:23.

And the apostle Paul is credited in that same book as saying, "I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do" - 7:15.

The point of christianity, as I understand it, is not to NOT sin, but to ask god to allow the death of his son Jesus christ to symbolically atone for one's sins. And with the sort of aforementioned passages in mind, christians might approach the world with a more understanding touch - and bring the light of their lord to the world.

It's your god's job to judge people, not yours.

Well I for one think it's about time he came out.
Living in the closet for the last thirty years or so must have been really hard on him, keeping his homosexuality hidden that way. He's brave to finally admit it, like George Takei, Ensign Sulu on the original "Star Trek", who came out a couple years ago and who now makes gay cameo appearances on shows like "Big Bang Theory". I'd really like to see Roger do a gay toon rabbit cameo on "BBT" too.
Poor Jessica though. I guess that means their "marriage" was one of those sham ones the Hollywood moguls used to set up to "protect" their gay big-name stars from gossisp. All those years having to live a lie. She's probably happy about it too.

A lot of what people do is sin. Christians are not supposed to sin - Christians recognize something as sin and are supposed to turn away from it.

So, people who are not christians ARE supposed to sin?

People who aren't Christians don't have a choice about it- they are slaves to sin.

Christ died on the Cross to redeem people from sin- He died for the saints.
