Damn. Not bad nagging for an old guy. 21 players in for tonight and we all have Pittsburgh.

No point in bothering about the result then John. As far as this silliness is concerned the game might just as well be cancelled. Are any of us bothered about the game being played for any other reason? Such as having the hot-dog franchise on the East car park.

You never know, Spendius. I am not smart enough to get my computer to do this. Instead I have a hand crafted chart with 18 columns and 25 rows. I record the picks and report the projections. And then I put up the results, using a green or red highlighter to tell me how things turn out.
It is an amusingly colorful chart at the end of any week. On average, there are 62% green vs 38% red ones for us as a group.
Sometimes, like tonight, there are 21 picks for the Steelers. Maybe everyone will get a green mark. But there have been cases where most if not all of us get a game wrong. Cancel the game because we all agree? Silly.

I didn't say cancel the game. Perish the thought. To think I even hinted at such a thing is silly imo. As far as this silliness here is concerned the game is irrelevant, of zero consequence, but that doesn't mean it is irrelevant to a lot of people. I really cannot understand how anybody could misconstrue my post to such an extent.

Nah Rockie. It is English comprehension lessons in American schools that is much more likely to be the problem in view of the fact that what I said was concise and focussed. Say it faster and clearer for us if you think you can. There were no extra words, no wandering sentences and it was as clear as the pebbles in a shallow mountain stream. Your comment makes me wonder about Logic lessons in American schools.
