@realjohnboy,
Quote:
1) Johnboy (135-57 .703) manages to extend his lead by 1 game
2) Wandeljw (127-65 .661) inches up from 3rd
2) George matches that
2) Ragman stays where he was
5) Tico (126-66 .656) jumps from 8th after a good outing
6) Fbaezer (117-62 .654) dips one notch

I think Fbaezer should be joint 16th in the standings. 6th just looks incongruous.

If it is okay to miss a week is it okay to miss a few games? Imagine what the standings would look like if we all missed a week or a few games. The number of correct picks in the season is not manipulatable whereas the % is. Suppose Tico and Fbaezer ended up joint top on .656 and Tico has 9 more correct picks. Or that Fbaezer was .657.

@spendius,
"The score never interested me, only the game." Mae West quote

I'll bet you are the only person here that cares a fig about that. I've know lots of folks from the UK and I know they teach good sportsmanship. Were you out the day when they taught that in school? Drunk

@spendius,
Just think, if you hadn't changed that week 12 pick from Packers to Lions,
you'd be ahead of fbaezer and tied with Ticomaya. I tried to warn you, but
would you listen? Nooooooooooooo.

That's flat-out bullshit.

The winners can laugh and the losers can suit themselves.

Taking part in the Olympic Games has had to be won and I knew somebody who didn't quite make it there. What he did to try beggared belief. It was very, very serious.

You should be on the Yabber-Yabber thread with that sort of thing Rag. They are really sweet on there.

@George,
I know. I know George.

I'm toying with picking the Vikes this week. What do you think?

The first prize has gone. Nobody would catch me if I was where rjb is. Not having Tico beat me is second prize and he's on the Lions and the Seahawks. Have the Rams any chance?

@realjohnboy,
So, ugh.

Here goes -

Pittsburgh
New England
NY Jets
Houston
Baltimore
Carolina
Jacksonville
Tennessee
Miami
Detroit
San Francisco
Denver (covers eyes)
Green Bay
San Diego
NY Giants
Seattle (24 - 17)

My typing fingers are wanting to word play like LionTamerX does, with the city or team names. I may not be able to stop myself next week.
Or maybe I'll do a ehBeth with the food. Or opt to name restaurants.. that'll piss people off..
