We disagreed strongly about some issue a few years ago . I can't recall what it was about. We agreed to a duel at noon or so on the Lawn at UVA. I was there, waiting. I ended up throwing a frisbee to a few really stupid dogs, while my dog sat beside me wondering why they would want to chase it.
Then we went home and took a nap.

It was a long night for the 16 of us who picked the Eagles last night. QB Vince Young threw 33 times and completed 25 but 4 of those, unfortunately, were to the other team's players. Rhys, Region, Mysteryman, Tico and Fbaezer selected the Seahawks.
We agree on some 80% of our picks this week as a group. I included a nod for Philly as a wrong pick and I am calling Buff (11 picks) vs Tenn (10) as a tossup.
We are unanimous in selecting the Patriots, Packers, 49ers and Saints to win.
Only Mysteryman has the Browns against the Ravens. There are 4 games we split 18-3.
Excluding the tossup game but including the Thursday night game Region, JPB, Ragman, LiontamerX , Cowdoc and Mis Cowdoc agree with the majority on 14 of the 15 games.
Osso and Jespah differ from the majority on 6 games.

As Mysteryman is 18th in the table there are thus five games that are irrelevant for our purposes.

I, though, follow Jespah and, as can be seen, am trying to pattern my choices to be similar. I enjoy who tends to pick what teams..

I must admit osso that I wasn't considering the ladies here. They are only here to be close to the testosterone fragrances.

What I meant John was, that leaving Mm out on the basis that he's not in the running for my crown, the results of the 4 games where we are unanimous plus the Ravens game do not matter for your league table.

I would offer you 10 to 1 against anyone but yourself winning my title if I didn't know that were I to do that you would pick the no-hopers.

It is incongruous to me that we men should play this game in any other spirit than that which we rightly expect the football players to play in. To do so would be like playing poker without money. It's not my style, it's not Tico's style and it isn't your style either. You're like a dog with two dicks being top and hot favourite to clinch the silverware.

I prefer to play poker without money.

Yup. I know I'm in a small minority but Dirty Birds are due for a fall. It's played in Houston. Texans want badly to be relavent as a wild card or somewhere in the playoffs. I feel the need to take more risk and that's the matchup I'm hoping pays off.

But your switch from the Falcons to the Texans puts you in bed with Johnboy, George, Wandeljw (as well as Region and EhBeth).
