Yeah--I know George- but we are supposed to be getting past cruel and inhumane punishments.

@Ticomaya,
Quote:
I appreciate a good run-on sentence as much as the next guy.

Empty and valueless assertion.

Quote:
However, that was not a good run-on sentence.

Empty and valueless assertion.

Quote:
Weak effort

Empty and valueless assertion.

That suggests Tico that you go around spouting empty and valueless assertions all the time presumably thinking that nobody knows.

Quote:
What are you up against? Disinterest? I'm sure that true.

More like bigotry combined with mental laziness.

Quote:
Yes ... write intelligibly and coherently.

But that is not an answer to my request that you provide an example of a better way of making the point I was trying to make. It's a cop out. And suggests that you haven't a better way and thus proves my contention that I was efficient by your own standards.

Quote:
No, my alternative would be to write intelligibly and coherently.

The above applies equally to that nonsense.

Quote:
No, as I said, I would have tried writing intelligibly and coherently.

And I invited you to do so but you have refused the opportunity with a flourish of gobshite as if that counts for anything.

By the way, I enjoyed reading the posts here from yesterday. Wednesday's and Thursday's are tough to fill with drivel here.
The structure of the game is what it is for a reason. It will not change. I did enjoy the banter, though.

@realjohnboy,
Of course - agreed. Why fix something that isn't broken? There are plenty of games online that work with the point spread. I have no interest whatsover in games that involve a point spread.

@Ragman,
Me either, but in my case I've avoided those kind of stats for many years. My first horse seen on tv going to the gate was Swaps, horse racing an entirely new thing to me (that family was watching tv, what was going on, I picked a horse for the name). The horse won the Derby, I got interested. Not re betting, but horses.

I have Wandeljw and Jespah picking the Jets.
Ragman, you wrote AZ over Wash. I recorded your pick as Carolina.

@realjohnboy,
You're correct. I erred...I had quickly fixed a typo and accidentally entered the wrong one. I meant it to be CAR over Wash.
