My ashes landed on the ground above the river, though. It's gonna take a few good rains for them to make it down to the river. (I did that on purpose.)

@Thomas,
If there wasn't e.g. the Cochiti Dam and other detours ... (The Rio Grande unfortunately isn't a naturally flowing river anymore - one of the many topics, Bob had had an intensive knowledge about].)

Yeah, Diane and a couple of others were a little worried about the fact that we didn't have official permission. But hey -- this was Bob, after all.
Eva, I was never worried about the legalities of scattering the ashes, but there were a couple who mention some concern. I knew Bob wanted what he wanted and I was going to give it to him no matter what.

@Izzie,
Hugs (((((Izzie))))), right back atcha.
As you can see in my last post, I throw caution to the wind when it seems appropriate to do so. Bob and caution were thrown to the wind on Saturday.

I worried about it for a while (on my own) and decided I didn't care re rules, and told you so.
You told me we could throw ashes or not, but that you were making packets for those who wanted to send them to the river.
I didn't, and not about rules.
I might do it in a still river.
I don't mean to be a bitch - I'm saying my thoughts.

@Diane,
I think you threw caution to the wind the day you met!
Are you feeling a wee bit better sometimes, lady Diane?
