Once again it is the knight move in chess. Logic that goes two moves this direction then three in a completely different direction. Idiot tea partiers are lost after the sharp turn because their brains are too small too comprehend...

http://www.diffen.com/difference/Democrat_vs_Republican

What are the main differences between the Republican and Democratic approaches to regulating the economy?
http://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/regulating-economy.asp

How to Tell a Democrat from a Republican
http://www.americanpolitics.com/030499dictionary.html

These are very solid differences, verifiable by the immutable voting records of the various governors, representatives and senators of each party...

If you don't know these differences by now, please don't vote... Smile

Vietnam war veteran, longtime peace activist, and frequent noon-hour singer Will Williams, aged 70, fell on his back down a marble staircase while in handcuffs after being arrested by four Capitol police officers in Madison WI on Thursday. Ignoring standard first-aid procedures against moving anyone with a potential back injury, the officers instead spent several minutes "assisting" the still-handcuffed Williams to his feet.

As Williams was being led to the elevator in obvious pain, he looked Capitol Police Lieutenant Bob Sloey in the eye and told him, "If you had left your damn blood in Vietnam you’d be standing up for rights too instead of this bullshit." In a radio interview Friday, Williams said "I wasn’t doing anything, I wasn’t even singing. I was standing there with my sign on my feet. I don’t know if I was pushed or what, my feet went out from under me." He added, "I’ll be back at the capitol as soon as I’m able to. They can knock me down but they can’t keep me down. I bled for those rights and I will not surrender to this administration."

Will Williams was featured in the award-winning documentary "The Good Soldier" which explores the personal dimensions of war as experienced by the soldiers themselves. In the film Williams talks about how over 40 years later he is still healing from the dehumanizing effects of being a trained killer for the U.S. government.

(C) Obviously, our system needs some fixing.

The Affordable Care Act is a big step forward, and that's why the Republicans are trying to stop it at all costs and protect their corporate masters.

Facebook poster caption:
The government doesn't create jobs? Really? Tell that to the WPA.

Seriously, the government can help to 'create jobs' in many ways besides just hiring people to work for the government.
And by the way, Eric... when Chris Wallace is giving you crap on FOX about how you are not doing YOUR government job... you may be in a spot of trouble, son.

@RexRed,
I guess some republicans think most Americans are stupid. Total government employment in the US is over 12% (36,720,000) of the total workforce, and about 50% of 306,000,000 (153,000,000) are in the workforce.

There are also over 1,500,000 in the military. THEY WORK FOR THE GOVERNMENT.

@RexRed,
Why stop at $11?
Lets make it $50 an hour, or $100 an hour.

What is the reasoning behind %11 an hour?

@mysteryman,
Well why not make CEO's work for free? What would be there reasoning behind that? Fairness maybe?

When a person who slaughters cows all day with their bare hands makes less than the person sitting on their ass all day in an air conditioned office, something is wrong here... How about someone who works at a waste treatment plant or cleans toilets at the mall? What is a fair price per hour for those jobs? Ever worked on a dump truck picking up people's trash? How about stoop labor working all day in the burning hot sun picking lettuce?

True, why stop at 11 dollars per hour?

How about that poor person who has the arduous job of logging online very few hours to see if their stocks have gone up or split two for one? pity pity pity... (cynical)
