@izzythepush,
We do have "Little Mosque on Prairie ". 'Course is was produced by CBC ......

Little Mosque on the Prairie is a Canadian television sitcom created by Zarqa Nawaz and produced by WestWind Pictures, originally broadcast between 2007 and 2012 on CBC. Filmed in Toronto, Ontario and Indian Head, Saskatchewan, the series was showcased at the Dawn Breakers International Film Festival. After the series finale aired in April 2012, Hulu announced it would begin offering the series under the name Little Mosque that summer.[1] The series made its U.S. syndication debut on Pivot in August 2013.

@bobsal u1553115,
It's Candian, not American, and I think is more comedy/dram than plain comedy. Citizen Khan is just silly. It suffers from the sad loss of comedy genius Felix Dexter (RIP.)

@izzythepush,
I know, that's why I noted that CBC produced the show. I'm one of the few here in the US that watches Canadian TV and listens to Canadian broadcasting.

I loved the Red Green show, too. That was fairly popular here in the US. Probably because of all the duct tape.

@bobsal u1553115,
Why the personal attack on me Bob? That's a little lame don't you think? I'm not CJ, so save it for him.

Do you have any info to back up the "cheating spouse" line Red is pushing?

Ok, she is busted. It is still a cheap shot to call her a whore, I still call it the lefts war against women.

@Baldimo,
Who called her a whore? It was pointed out she wasn't called a whore by the right after some on the right called Sandra Fluke a slut for merely advocating for birth control.

@parados,
Rex has pretty much called her a whore in his post, and I see no one on the left screaming about a war on women when the left wants to attack a woman. His attack on the Senator from Iowa was also an attack on a woman he disagrees with. He is pretty consistent with his hate of women he disagrees with.

It wasn't advocating for birth control, it is already available and reasonably cheap, she wanted us to pay for her birth control.

Because teenage pregnancies are a much better idea.

@izzythepush,
Keeping ones pants on prevents teenage pregnancies as well. Personal responsibility is a lost art for those on the left. Condoms don't cost that much and someone in college can certainly afford condoms.

http://www.walmart.com/search/?query=condoms

A pack of 40 costs about $12. How much does a drink in the bar cost? About half the price of a box of condoms. So if they can afford to go drinking, they can afford to buy condoms. It's a matter of priorities.

Which post did he call her a whore in? Please provide the exact words because I don't see it anywhere.

@Baldimo,
Now you are completely misrepresenting Fluke's testimony.

@parados,
No I'm not, she wants something for free and wants others to pay for it. It's a burden for them, so the rest of us have to pay for it. That isn't misrepresenting anything, that is the moral of her story.

Georgetown Law Students for Reproductive Justice, because having to pay for something I want to use is an injustice. It is only justice when it comes from someone else's pocket.

Did you miss the meme he posted above? If you are putting up a meme, you support the message it pushes. In the eyes of those on the left, someone from the right does this, they are a whore. Someone on the left does it, and it is none of anyone's business and they should be left alone. That lady might have been cheating on her husband, but that doesn't make her a whore. Rex is the perfect example of the War on Women.

@Baldimo,
She wants something for free? Did you even read or hear her testimony?

She wants insurance to cover birth control. Her argument was that religious exemptions should not be allowed to let employers deny birth control in insurance coverage because birth control is often used for other medical reasons. She didn't want anything for free. She simply wanted doctors and patients to decide medical procedures, not religions.

@Baldimo,
The meme he put up did NOT call her a whore. It only questioned why the people that called Flake a slut didn't call her a whore. It is pointing out the hypocrisy of people on your side for not holding themselves to the same standard when it comes to name calling.

You misrepresent what Rex posted and you misrepresent what Flake testified to. I wonder what you are the perfect example of.

@parados,
How much are people paying for their birth control under the ACA? You answer that, and we can have a discussion.

So all the pregnant teenagers are on the left then. You sound unhinged. You can't stop teenagers shagging, and free birth control is the best way forward. It makes sense, and it's astounding to hear such an extreme position being vocalised. It's incredibly short sighted and ignorant. Moralising doesn't work, use something that does.

Universal Health Care is a basic right as a citizen, and any politician who threatens that will be hard pressed getting on a Parish Council.

@Baldimo,
If the person has insurance then it is covered with no out of pocket expense. Just like several other things are covered like diabetes screening, alcohol misuse screening, HIV screening, immunizations.
http://www.hhs.gov/healthcare/facts/factsheets/2010/07/preventive-services-list.html

Just because insurance pays for something without out of pocket expense doesn't make it free. If that is the case then you should be complaining about all those people getting free knees, hips and heart valves. You are completely ignoring how insurance works.

Don't get me wrong, she's George W. Bush's smarter progressive Republican sister. I don't want to vote for her. I like Elizabeth Warren, George W. Bush's even smarter Republican sister.
