My dear friend RexRed, your mind seems to be wandering. Sometimes I have that same problem, too. I'll tell you something else: Sometimes after a really bad night (thanks to my chronic sleep disorder), my mind doesn't function very efficiently; and my writing suffers as a result. On the other hand, perhaps you're indulging yourself in what is called "stream of consciousness" writing or whatever it is. You might also be agitated for some reason. I would suggest retiring for the evening. Hopefully you will be able to sleep late. Then you will be ready for more online adventures refuting the coldjoints of this world in the neverending struggle of good against evil, thus providing entertainment for the rest of us. Until we meet again . . . Smile

@coldjoint,
Best economy in decades, no national debt, balanced budgets, growing economy, declining welfare rolls, booming market with eight straight years of growth, sounds horrifying. Contrast that with W.

@coldjoint,
You are a racist, buttwipe. And secretly you're very proud of it.

The rest of your rant proves it. Who in the world believes that you hate some minorities but draw the line at racial distinction. You hate muslims, women, glbt, Democrats but you draw your line of hate just short of black people?

There is a lot more hate in your posts and with a lot less proof. Reality scares you.

@coldjoint,
You sure do love other peoples sausages. A good boning would do you good and maybe make you shut the **** up about it. You do know, carpfart, you're the only one here talking that ****. It sure makes you look gay, not that there's anything wrong with that, but noone wants to hear about your nonstop fixation with imaginings about other people sex lives. Your mouth is the only one flapping on about dicks. How about ******* dropping it.

US Rep. Grimm Pleads Guilty to Federal Tax Evasion
Source: ABC News quoting AP

U.S. Rep. Michael Grimm admitted Tuesday to federal tax evasion, pleading guilty to charges he had fought as he won re-election last fall but that now leave his congressional future in question.

Grimm entered a guilty plea to one count of aiding in the filing of a false tax return. He had been set to go to trial in February on charges of evading taxes by hiding more than $1 million in sales and wages while running a Manhattan health-food restaurant.

Sentencing was scheduled for June 8. Prosecutors said a range of 24 to 30 months in prison would be appropriate, while the defense estimated the appropriate sentence as between 12 and 18 months.

Boehner does not plan to comment on Grimm's situation until the two discuss it, Boehner spokesman Michael Steel said.

ObamaCare Rise: Nearly 2 Million More Americans Enroll for 2015
Source: NBC News

More than 6 million Americans in total have enrolled for individual insurance plans for 2015 through HealthCare.gov, Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell said on Tuesday.

HealthCare.gov sells individual plans created by the national healthcare reform law in 36 states. The rest of the states, including California and New York, have their own online exchanges and those figures are not included in these latest numbers.

About 1.9 million new customers have signed up. The balance — or 4.5 million people — are re-enrollments, Burwell said during a webcast press briefing. And roughly 30 percent of those re-enrollments included people who actively signed up for coverage in 2015, she added.

Video at link.

US consumer sentiment at highest point in 8 years
Source: AP-Excite

By CHRISTOPHER S. RUGABER

WASHINGTON (AP) — A survey finds U.S. consumers are more optimistic about the economy than at any other time in the past eight years, buoyed by more jobs and falling gas prices.

The University of Michigan says its index of consumer sentiment has jumped to 93.6 from 88.8 in November. That's the highest level since January 2007, nearly a year before the Great Recession officially began.

Americans may finally be shedding some of their anxiety about the economy. Half the respondents expect the U.S. to avoid a recession in the next five years, the most in a decade.

Americans are also more optimistic about pay: They expect a wage gain of 1.7 percent in 2015, the highest since 2008. Higher expectations about pay typically suggest that Americans are more likely to demand raises.

@RexRed,
Rex,
If you are actually giving Obama credit for bringing gas prices down, then you must be willing to give him the blame when gas prices rose.
