The Walton family, which owns Walmart, has spent more than $1 billion to support the privatization of our public schools. They've funded an aggressive corporate education agenda that has resulted in mass school closures and moving our public education tax dollars to for-profit schools.

@RexRed,
Common Core is much more worrisome. But some prefer indoctrination to education.

The GOP has declared war on the poor and the middle class. But it's going to lose -- especially if Democrats behave like Democrats.

In case you havent noticed, life is not fair.
As long as she broke no laws, I dont care what she does with her money or how she earns it.

Maybe you should take the same approach to life, you will be more relaxed that way.

@RexRed,
You just don't like the fact that teachers have been leaving the teachers unions in droves. The people have spoken, if they want the unions they wouldn't be leaving them. I guess you would rather have forced compliance in the work place in relation to unions. Aren't you supposed to be the Freedom of Choice party?

@Baldimo,
It's never 'paid in full,' because of all the young kids who lost their lives.

I agree. Much of Reagan's conservative influence and policies exist today and the GOP speak of this 40th president of the US as though he could walk on water. When Reagan became president, the homeless began appearing on the corner of every major metropolitan city in America.

To be honest, he wasn't much of a president but did a lot of damage. He made a deal with Iran to withhold the release of the 52 US embassy employees until AFTER his election. He used Israel as a conduit to deliver these weapons to Iran. After the election, according to plan, Iran released the hostages. By all account the action was treasonous! RR was shot in the lung, an assassination attempt, during his first administration and in the second he had a cancer removed from his colon. Truth be known, at the age 0f 69 when he became the oldest to run for the presidency of the US, he was already suffering from Alzheimer's disease, and his administration was run by John Poindexter, Chief of Staff, among others.

Being an actor by profession, RR was able to convince many of his followers he was a superior president!

Critics Blast Obama's Three Meals a Day

WASHINGTON - GOP chief Reince Priebus today ripped President Obama for consuming three meals a day while on vacation in Martha's Vineyard. "With international crises boiling over in Iraq, Syria and Ukraine, it's unconscionable that the President is having breakfast, lunch and dinner," he said. The White House defended the President's eating habits, noting that his predecessor, George W. Bush, frequently supplemented his three meals a day with an afternoon snack, but Priebus was unmoved by this argument. "It sends a very dangerous message to our enemies to see President Obama eating," he said. (satire)
