Why do you a d others continue to leave George Soros off the list of "evil" rich people trying to buy elections?
He stated that he would spend his entire fortune to make sure repubs weren't elected, and he spent millions to ensure that Obama won.
Isn't he guilty of buying favors and buying the election also, or does he not count since he is a liberal democrat?

Good question, my fellow poster. Simply put, George Soros is one of the good guys. Jeepers, I only wish there were more like him. George Soros "Faces of Philanthropy" created the Soros Humanitarian Foundation to which he gave $230 million. He also seem to care about people, unlike the cold-blooded distant manipulating Mitt Romney and other Republicans who hide their wealth in the Cayman Islands, Swiss Banks etc to keep from paying taxes. If Romney, that condescending detached sneering plutocrat, had gotten into power (the US Presidency) 47% of Americans might be in the poor house right about now and or begging on the street corner; one cannot disenfranchise 47% of the people and not upset the balance.....

@RexRed,
They live in a "nether world" where everything is upside down, left is right, and north is south. They're so confused, they even believe there's a crisis called Benghazi!

@RexRed,
The congress (all of them) are a bunch of flunkies. The recent hearings they had with the CEO of Apple Computer, they complained that corporations aren't paying enough, and the CEO of Apple told them they're the ones who wrote the tax laws.

Congress, especially the current one, is clueless. All they do is complain, and what eventually is revealed is that congress created the problems all by themselves.

Look at the IRS 'crisis.' The GOP cut the IRS funding by $300 million, and they're complaining about the slow processing of nonprofit applications!

It's the same for the Benghazi security problem. The GOP cut funding for embassy security.

@mysteryman,
Elect? What we still elect people? I thought our representatives were bought and paid for by citizens united? You know that greedy corporations are people too so they can anonymously dump unlimited money and resources to create propaganda (lies) and sway the uninformed populace. Seems to be working fine. In the end we have panels of men deciding women's health issues. The public will not stay uninformed for long... Eventually the populace will catch on and mobilize just as they did in the last election where the NRA dumped money into elections with little to no avail... You know it is too bad that republican men do not know how to simply do what is right rather than what is politically beneficial to them. This will be what will get them in the end. Fool me once, fool me twice...

@RexRed,
That's the same thing they did with the IRS; they cut their funding, and their work started to pile up. The GOP cried bloody-murder, because the Tea Party applications for nonprofit status were delayed. The thing is, even liberal organizations applying for nonprofit status were also delayed.

@RexRed,
And the dems are just as guilty of cutting security funding. I have posted the evidence 2 or 3 times now, you you and CI and others on the left ignore it and only attack the repubs.

You are allowing your partisanship and hatred to blind you to the facts.

Come now, surely rigid partisanship is the central component of the Republican Party. Why Progressive/Liberals are almost innocent to a fault compared to the deceitful right-wing nitpickers. The GOP, in the icy death grip of the Tea Party, will not allow a jobs bill to come to the floor, which if passed, would put many more Americans back to work fixing our infrastructure, etc. The Republican Party is too busy manufacturing scandals that will swirl around the Obama administration with the hope of derailing any possible Hillary 2016 run for president.

The current Republican Party is so dysfunctional and incompetent that it's on its death bed and might not ever win another presidential election unless it evolves for the better.
