Some trains in China can move at 400km/hour, while others run at 200km/hour, but that's better than most US train systems.

ACELA was designed to go 165 mph but it has been topping out at 150 for one 34 mile segment. Amtrak is trying to get the speed up but acela is so heavy due to stupid government safety regulation that 165 mph really beats up the rails, plus Amtrak has defective catenary issues whixh get worse the faster they go.

Amtrak is pushing for new trains, light ones like the rest of the world uses. They are supposed to be the same ones that California uses, but the California system is not going to get built during my lifetime.

No they are not. There has been numerous posts about LBJ proving what I have said. You also keep forgetting the black vote for Dems is only 50 years old right when Johnson gave them money because Dems wanted the votes.
Johnson realized the black turnout was greater than white.
