@Baldimo,
Baldimo: (goes to inane tangent) Since when does any country HAVE to give anything away?
//////////

Do you think that it reflects well upon the USA to lie its ass off to make it appear a generous nation when it actually is a terribly stingy nation, B?

B: What they can afford? Does that mean the US HAS to give more money? That is very socialist of you.
////

There's no need to parade your ignorance, B. It doesn't help your position in the least. It has zero to do with socialism. Except that the countries that are more socialist economically and politically are much more generous than the USA.

The USA is by far the wealthiest country in the world.

Again, a very good argument can be made that this has come from a century plus of piracy. That just doesn't make all the centuries long propaganda describing the USA as a good, kind benevolent country look to hold much of a measure of truth.

B: Good thing a majority of those in the US don't feel the way you do.

But the majority does, because they are operating under the same silly notion, another big usa lie, that you were - the USA is a generous nation.

@parados,
Not hispanics, illegal aliens. There is a difference and those of you on the left keep getting the 2 confused. It also can't be helped that a majority of the illegal immigrants in this country come from south of the US border.

If you are going to make a pronouncement, at least get your facts straight.

I don't think I am the one getting them confused. It's those on the right that keep complaining about all the "illegals" voting when the evidence is only Hispanics that are US citizens have ever voted.

@parados,
How can we be sure? Can we check ID's prior to someone voting? Do only US citizens have drivers licenses? How about social society cards?

WOW! That was simplistically convoluted, Baldimo.

And then you write,

I have already won Frank. This country gave me everything anyone could ask for. That people like you want to **** it up is not my doing. But I will not sit still and read the tripe posted on this very biased forum. Without telling you and others so.

I am unimportant, as gratitude seems to be today.

It is the far right turning our country into a pile of dung, CJ. And you are part of that camp. Get your facts right.

"Gratitude" would be treating your country with respect, CJ...and you will never be able to do that from the right. You guys are all too concerned about lapel pins.

We do check IDs when people register to vote. At the very least the person has to sign an oath that they are a citizen. If you have some evidence of those people registered not being citizens by all means present it to us? Your desire to check IDs of Hispanics before they can vote seems to indicate you think Hispanics that vote are illegals.

This thing about picture ID's is about the most disgusting things pulled by the Republicans. It is strictly about suppressing Dem votes, not preventing fraud. A few Republicans have even admitted this.

There has been virtually no fraud that would have been prevented were there a picture-ID requirement, and the Republicans know it. Keeping people from voting is as low as one can go.

@parados,
Once again putting words in my mouth. Who said only checking the ID's of Hispanics? I want everyone to have ID checked before voting. It's a universal rule as far as I'm concerned.

You really think someone who is here illegally is going to be honest about their citizenship? How do they get jobs in the first place? ID theft. I'm sure you know that most of the immigration raids in the US come from ID theft investigations. It isn't a short step from ID theft for a job to just voting in an election. The sense of entitlement of illegal immigrants is strong enough that they will do as they please regardless of what the law says.
