@Frank Apisa,
I'm just wondering how the Party of NO is going to proceed with future legislation? They have the record as the worst in history with less than 60 bills signed into law.

Even though voters rate them at their worst, Americans will end up voting the same people back into Washington.

It is amazing what is going on, ci. But in a perverse way, I actually understand them. Their followers...their base...seems to be demanding greater and greater extremes. And that is what they are serving up.

I suspect a lot of this is fueled by conservative media. The Rush Limbaughs...FOX News...all are throwing kerosene on each fire they can find...and the people who used to be reasonable at one time now have to be rabid in order to stay in the game.

The left side of that spectrum has got to stick together...has got to support moderation as much as possible. This shift I see with liberals allowing their anger to damn any chance at keeping American conservatism in check...is a horrible thing to be happening.

We are NOT going to have a great progressive hope come forward. That train has already left the station. But at least we can support the candidates who will not PROMISE to do as much as possible to harm anyone below the very wealthy.

Frustrating as hell at times...but ya gotta hang tough.

"You are part of the problem, Woiyo...not part of the solution."

What problem is that Frank. The fact I have more confidence in freedom and small government, than you do?

I bet you can't wait for Comrad Hillary to take over. Hey, how about moving to NY City Frank. I hear their new Mayor thinks like you do. Raise taxes, increase spending on the lazy, just your type ! Rolling Eyes

What I've said seems to have upset you, Woiyo. That was not my intention. I'm simply sharing my thoughts.

But the mentality of people who support what the Republicans are doing...is a detriment to this country...and to the experiment. If the experiment is every going to prove successful...the far right has to be a tiny minority...and operating as the loyal opposition, not as the leaders.

@Frank Apisa,
What bothers me is your nativity in thinking it is only the republicans who are ruining this country. Both Republicans, with their fake positions relating to growth and small government is a lie.

The Democrats are also to blame as they too try to take the position that they feel increased spending, higher taxes "bigger government" is the answer. They are also lying as evidenced by the policies they, in conjunctions with the republicans, have put in place. Again, they BOTH created and maintained the current tax policy which is regressive, increased federal spending, and virtually eliminated the Estate Tax.

What really bother me about your point of view is your refusal to accept that reality. To say, well the Democrats "suck less" than the republicans is selling out to "mediocrity".

In my "utopia", all Congressman are voted out, 100%, then the next Congress get 2 year (or 6 for Senate) then they get thrown out.

Hanging tough for some of us who have the savings to live comfortably is no panacea for those 1.3 million folks who have lost the unemployment insurance. Those families were already in crisis, and the GOP just doesn't give a shyt!

It's beyond frustrating; the GOP has no heart or mind. They are beyond cruel to those families who will lose their shelter and food at a time when the winter clime has been harsh. As a christian nation, we suck!

I've given up hope. TNCFS or heartless SOB's.

Try not to let it bother you...especially since I have never suggested in any way, shape, or form that only the Republicans are ruining this country. In fact, quite the opposite.

Not sure what you were trying to say here.

They feel that safety nets for the poor are necessary. And they feel that charity to the poor is every bit as important as all the charity to the very rich handed out by the Republicans.

I agree with you that there is lots wrong. I disagree that the parties are the same.

You are entitled to think that, but my position is one way to deal reasonably with the reality of the political situation currently in existence.

You way...pissing and moaning about it...does nothing.

@Frank Apisa,
Republicans are still insisting that al Qaeda was responsible for Benghazi, but they haven't provided any evidence to that effect. The NYT says there's no evidence al Qaeda was involved.

The GOP continue to cry FIRE, but haven't produced the fire yet.

What's next?

The GOP also kept telling the American people that Obamacare will be a death panel for the old, the young, and the middle class. The noise level has decreased a bit, but they're still tagging onto the internet bungle of ObamaCare as the big failure of the program. Over 2 million have now signed up for ObamaCare.

What's next?

If that is your real picture, take your grandchildren sit them down and explain how they will lose their freedom because of political views like yours.

That is my picture, CJ. But I have no grandkids.

If I had one, I would do my best to teach it how dangerous American conservatism can be.

@coldjoint,
Cold if you can't be part of the solution and not the source of the problems I will put you on ignore also.

Your racism and finger pointing when you are the one holding the forward motion of progress up is getting tiresome.

We already know what an ass you are...

Consider this a warning, either smarten up and fly right or be excluded from the discussion.

You are against government intervention well consider that the government gives you the ability to spew out your rank hatred and idiotic statements but I don't have to listen. Welcome to smaller government... Welcome to democracy...

Either cool it jerk or get ignored...

Post one more shitty opinion and I will ignore you without even a thought.

We already know how stupid you are we are living in the midst of your party's failed policies.

No more knight moves in logic, consider the nuclear option engaged.
