It's owned by a British company called Wolseley UK - no connection with the old car makers - a building trade supplies outfit. The headquarters used to be in Ripon and was the city's largest employer. Every so often letters appeared in the Ripon Gazette bemoaning the 'American' spelling of the word Center. Apparently the (mis)spelling is deliberate, to make the name stick in people's minds. Just think about it... because of that spelling you (and many others) will remember that company and when you want a tap or a shower or whatever you'll think of them. At least that's the idea. They also own Plumb Center , Build Center, Pipe Center , Parts Center, Drain Center , Climate Center and Integrated Supply Chain, (formerly Maintenance Center).
By the way, I believe it's usual to spell American/British proper names as the locals do, so it should be Pearl Harbor (not Harbour) and (of course) the World Trade Center, and the (British) Labour Party although there is the Australian Labor Party. And the reason why NASA spelt a shuttle's name "Endeavour" is because it is named after Captain Cook's ship HMS Endeavour.
