Interesting, CJ. Where has your tenacity taken you? How has it affected you?

With being tenacious, I have succeeded in many ventures - small and big and it's a great feeling in the end. How it affected me? Well, I have learned to not give up and trust myself and my intuition.

@George,
Ragman, Witty can suggest many things. On the surface, you're amusing. But you have to have a quick mind to operate in wit. Wit can also suffuse tension.

Edgar, Word fragments. This fascinates me. Actually, your whole post fascinates me. Interesting and strongly emotional reaction to questions. I won't ask any more of you. Patience. Outstanding. I have none.

Thomas, What the hell is meh? And I wasn't asking for introspection. I wanted a pop answer--no thinking required. But suit yourself. I can see that you're gonna be difficult.

You're a gutsy dame, Mame. Being adventurous requires courage. Being game requires confidence.

George, Okay, the first bemused mostly. Maybe a bit detached? Bewitched, bothered, and bewildered are a whole other kettle of fish.

Fascinating, surprising, and revealing responses. Mercy bow coo, you guys.
Thomas

@Roberta,
scatter-brained!

What was the first word to jump into your mind, Roberta?

@Thomas,
Thomas, You want difficult. You got difficult. And where has your difficultness gotten you?

Margo, Unfocused energy. Unpredictable except that you know you're gonna be scattered.

Moi? The first word that popped into my head and got me thinking about this thread is smart. Smartness formed and defines me. It's what makes me impatient. This happened when I was a kid and couldn't figure out what the problem was with other people. No problem. I was just ahead of everybody else.

It also enabled me to be lazy. In school, I found that I could do well enough in subjects I didn't like with a minimum of effort. So I focused on what I liked and slid through on everything else.

Being smart helped to get what I wanted when I was younger. I could figure out ways.

I overthink. I think of far too many reasons pro and con. But I'm not indecisive. Why? Confident that my intelligence will get me to the right place.

I struggle to get my emotional self in sync with my intellectual self. Not easy.

Thinking, thinking, thinking ...

I think I've got it! Idea

Over-thinker! Smile

(I was gonna say curious, or bemused, but they've been taken already.)

@msolga,
olga, Over-thinker. Has this caused you any problems?

BTW, I ain't aiming for exclusivity. If you're curious and farmerman is curious, no problem? I'm sure that your curiosity has taken you to different places.

Wayne, Unfinished? Are you in a pupa stage? Are you guiding yourself toward finishment, or are you just waiting to see what happens?

In many respects we're all unfinished. I'm old, but I'm still evolving.

Yes, Roberta.
It has sometimes given me a headache. You have absolutely no idea how very complicated things can be! Smile

I thought you said enema.

Metaphorical.

Bubbele, Wipe that tear from your eye. I misunderstood. I thought you were suggesting that enema was a metaphor for enigma. Does it make sense? No. Not as smart as I used to be.

Now I'm not sure what you mean by metaphorical. Indirection? (I don't think that's you.) You say one thing to suggest another? You think in metaphors? (I like that.) Please expand and expound.

I gotta get some sleep. My brain is failing me yet again. It's scary to get old.

Many times I told Chai: Stop with the metaphors! Just tell me what you want!

I'm a dry riverbed in the desert, waiting for a deluge.

I am instant oatmeal, waiting for a spoonful of honey.

Come to me Wally, the night is long, and I'm a parakeet with a tea towel thrown over my cage.
