So it looks like the 24th is going to be good, and a nice popular afternoon, eh?

Now, anyone interested in dinner after? Isnt Vinny's right there?
Think they'd take us again?

Well theres a rumor that Slappy showed and pressed his hos nekkid bodies up against the glass upstairs..thinking we would be acceptable of this behavior..knowing and half expecting it from him...however, we were downstairs.
Just wonder if they figured it was us that caused the fuss.

Hi everybody!

I could probably make it on the 24th.

Other than bad weather, the only concern I have is if the closing on my new house gets bumped from 1/15 to the following week.
(I got a message today that there was: 'a little problem with the title').
If it gets bumped and I'm only in the new house for a couple of days, I'll have to pass.

Quinn,

Thanks. I AM pretty excited about the house.

It's a fairly big house and well-suited for family gatherings, parties etc.

Because it's only 4-5 minutes from downtown Providence, all of my suburban friends are wanting to book weekend visits, offering to house-sit, etc. Very Happy

Maybe someday it can be base camp for an A2k gathering here in Rogues Island.

I like the idea of meeting at the BPL. as a Boston-area boy I'm of course familiar with the molasses flood story and have seen articles about it in the Globe over the years, but it would be fascinating to see a whole exhibit on it.

Wow!!! I can't believe that after all the years I've lived near Boston that I've never even heard of this.

Do please note... if we are studying the great molasses flood, we had better toast the victims with rum.

24th... Might drag the SealPups along. (Darn that real life anyway...)

jjorge..excelent..we hope to have a gathering of sorts at the new place of your admiration...sounds lovely.

Montana...you never heard of it??? It is an odd story, and I too have seen clips in books and papers and such..think the whole exhibit thing is nice...plus..it makes me go into the BPL which...gasp...I have yet to have done. Arent you planning on a trip down this way sometime?

SealPups weekend eh? Well, they will be educated...in some way...wouldnt they?
