In the interest of full disclosure, I must admit I got C's or lower in penmanship in elementary school. I am left handed and wrote with a backhand style. We used fountain pens then, which meant my left hand dragged through the still wet ink.
I never ran for public office, knowing that that would come out in the campaign.
