Well, that a bit of nationalistic blather.

While in London a couple of weeks ago I was informed by not one but two cabbies that I should be very grateful Barrack Obama is my president. From the airport, the driver told me everyone in England would love to have them as their leader, and that he is saving the world.

To the airport, the driver, who claimed to be conservative, told me that the last president the British thought was wonderful was Jimmy Carter.

At least you Brits are consistent.

Yeah, the guy that gave away the Panama Canal and empowered the fanatical Moslems in Iran
by dragging down our friend, the Shah.

Let Jimmy Carter run for President of Iran and stay there.

What he probably meant, but was too polite to say, was that having Obama was the least evil of the many evils that have sat as prezs. Hell, even a humanitarian like Jimmy Carter became a war criminal during his time as president.

It's like expecting a saint, when becoming the head of the Mafia, to remain a saint. It just ain't possible, can't be done.

Did you see John Stewart's show post the Glenn Beck announcement? Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery (but is parody?) Anyway, apart from being hilarious it is proof of just how closely Stewart and co have watch GB

Much of his "education" was mere propoganda and fear mongering. Many of his points of discussion were dead wrong. HIs view of history and science were laughable.
