Great news, Diane. You know, one good thing has come out of this is that it has shown us what a wonderfully caring "dispersed" community we have become.

I suggest, that at 11PM eST (local time needs to be converted to make this work) We all send dyslexia a huge host of get well good wishes by telepathic suggestion. Hey, so it may not work Frank, but it cant hurt.

O.K. Farmerman. That's the greatest harmless idea I've heard on these threads.

Can I send the good wishes in my sleep?

Here, I'll send 'em early and someone can pass 'em along. :-D

Good to hear things are, uh, progressing. We loves ya.

I've come up with a tremendous idea! As some of you know, I have started a new job at the "Space Burgers" restaurant. Here's my idea -- why not send Dys a couple of burgers and maybe a coke?

I only live a few states away. The burgers might be cold by the time they get there, but, hell.... they have microwaves in hospitals, don't they?

I can see it now -- Dys contentedly munching on a couple of burgers, sipping his coke, as Diane and the nurses run around the room, fluffing his pillow, changing the channel on the tv set, and chattering away in their inimitable style.

Burgers are on the way, Dys!

Lessee.... you're GMT +11 hours and EST is GMT -5 hours, So Sydney is 16 hours ahead of EST. But it changes depending on where we all are with our daylight savings.

Gusta, I'm not sure of the burger idea yet. Let's see if Dys. will have to watch his cholesterol and take a statin drug. Confused

Wow. Glad I saw this in time. Well, I've got loads of good wishes AND scalloped potatoes that will be ready then. Happy New Year to Diane & Bob in Denver... and to all of you around the globe! What a nice idea. Three hours and 15 minutes...
