A quick note: Bob had a stroke, but the doctors say it was fairly minor. Hi is in intensive care now and has been given medication for nausea and pain. They aren't sure where the stroke originated, but think it might have been from his heart. He seemed to be feeling better and was finally able to fall asleep when I left.

I'll let you know how he's doing tomorrow--it is already tomorrow--whenever I can.

All your prayers and good wishes mean more than you can possibly know. Love to all.
Diane

Diane, that is great news that is was "minor." I suspect he'll be up and around and good as new in no time at all.

When you think about how tragic the results could have been, I would consider both of you to be extremely fortunate.

Get some rest.

What a crummy way to celebrate your birthday... next time, how 'bout just a small party, a bit of cake & some ice cream, OK?

Wishing you a quick recovery & a healthy New Year.

<hugs>

Here's hoping you recover quickly and get to your birthday dinner.

To speed your recovery, I suggest finding a nurse with a huge rack to give you a daily sponge bath.
That'll get the blood circulating between the brain and at least one vital area. Should really pick you up. :wink:

God Bless.

Hey, it is said to be a blessing in disguise, my father had a minor stroke and it was 'a warning shot across the bows' according to his doctor - lived a good long life after it but learnt to take it easy!!! Capricorns never give up!!
