Handsome!

Okay, let's see Fred!

Did I mention that my mum had a small green parrot named Fred? He flew away one day when he was outside getting sunshine and his cage was "bumped" by one of the cats. Since nobody had cut his feathers, he was able to fly just fine. He lived with and harassed/was harassed by the crows for several years, then was seen no more. Poor Fred.

Hey Dys, I'd love to see a picture of Fred. I was worried about him the whole time your were in the hospital. Worried about you too. But I figured you were being taken care of. What I wasn't sure of was whether Diane was taking care of the boid. I love dem boids.

I became a bird lover on my trip to South Africa in 2002. When you get to see so many birds during a 18 day trip, ya can't help but become a boid lover. I'll look in my photo album so see if I can post some pictures of boids rarely, if ever, seen in California.

A picture of Dys! Yeah! Now we are all waiting to see Fred. No cat yet, Diane?

Diane, I definitely prefer Spain in Jan/Feb! I do not like snow!

Wow! what a classic face, Bob. I'm sure the painters, Rembrandt, Durer, and El Greco would have loved to have had you as a model. And what a glorious character actor you could be.

I've known for awhile now that dys is handsome in the heart as well as his lanky cowboy looks. That's what matters to me most. Wink

Diane & Dyslexia

I LOVE the Pat Garrett sound track! Very soothing! Play it lots!
(pssst .... never saw the film, but, as I'd heard it was very violent & I'm a coward when it comes to such things.)

Keep resting, listening to good music & sleeping lots. You'll feel better on no time! Very Happy

JLN, who is the artist who paints very elongated figures? Bob has very narrow, very long hands and feet. They are evocotive of an artist who's work I've seen, but whose name I can't remember.

Bob drove for the first time today and was fine. We are on our way to have his blood levels checked. This will make sure he has the proper level of medication in his blood.

The neurologist isn't sure when the last test can be scheduled, so we are on hold for that one, but he is doing so well that I'm more relaxed about the delays.

How I wish we could travel all over the world to visit each of you. This warmth and love is the best medicine I can imagine.

Love,
D
