Dys...Sweet! Glad you're home so quickly. Now you need to milk the recuperation time for all it's worth. Wouldn't it be great if someone would wax your car, clean the raingutters...?
Take it easy; don't try to come bounce back too fast. -rjb-

Hey, dys and Di.

Absolutely no advice, astute or otherwise.

Your body will tell you what and what not to do, and your mind will be the enforcer. Don't cut yourself shaving, Dys. Oops, said I wasn't gonna give you any advice. Smile

If I had a dream catcher, I'd send you one. Gave mine to my yard man when he went to East Timor. Rolling Eyes

When someone is on blood thinners, they are only aloud to shave with an electric razor.

I am sending you both good wishes for good health and happiness.

truth
I usually trust the wisdom of the nurses more, or at least as much as, the expertise of the doctors. GREAT to have you at home, Dys. Do relish your moments; I know your experience is helping me relish mine. Love, buddy. And no less to you, brave and loving Diane.

The phone rang......
The phone rang and when I answered, a voice said "Hi, it's Bob." I nearly fell out of my chair---with joy, of course. And I could hear Fred squawking his head off in the background. Diane said Fred missed Bob so much he just sat on Bob's coat hung over his computer chair while he was in hospital.

I was so relieved to hear Bob's voice, speaking in his normal (devilish) cadence; no hint of tiredness at all. He talked about his nurses; what else will a man notice in the hospital?

Diane's laughter was a sign of her relief at having her skinny cowboy home again. We discussed some recovery treatment that I can't mention, because I know Craven won't allow that kind of talk on A2K.

Bob is waiting for an appointment to return to the hospital for the tests to be done. I wonder if the nurses will allow him back in the joint?

You know how Bob has fooled us all these years about how smart he is? Well, I concede he was smart to get Diane, but the "kick-Ass" group had better bet get busy cause Bob's already blown it. That smart he ain't.

The rascals beat me to A2K
I just read the last few posts to this thread and discovered the rascals beat me to reporting the latest from Dys and Diane. Ain't it fun?

I made my one plea including the "kick-ass" group, so I'm not nagging him any more. He knows we all care, and that's the message we have sent him. The rest is up to him - and he knows that all too well.

Welcome back, Dys. You know what one single thing on this thread surprised the hell out of me?
The fact that your name is Bob. What the hell kind of name is Bob, for a cowboy?

I was sure it was going to be Luke or Charlie or Lester, but Bob..... no way in hell.

The vultures circled high in the desert sky and the townspeople scattered as the doors to the saloon opened and Bob strode out into the street, his pistols shimmering in the sun, a scowl on his face.

Nope, just doesn't cut it.

But, like I said..... good to see you back.
