@Josi,
Dude: boy's don't have busts!

I think we have a language barrier here...a bit. Correct terms (and measurements) will help you get the right info.

According to an online calculator, if the adult male has a 35 inch chest, the "ideal" (whatever that is) waist would be 24.5 and hips 30.

You say you are 35, 29, 36.

So, you've just got a bigger waist and hips is all.

@chai2,
I don't care what that calculator says 'cause it's whacky. No 17-yr-old boy that is 5 ft 4 and 125 lbs has a 24 inch waist. A girl might have - but not a boy (unless he was a jockey). I re-assessed what I wrote earlier that what is in the norm is anywhere around 28 inches. An no 17-yr-old boy has 30-inch hips..NONE at that ht/weight/build.

Back to the topic, though. If at all, your need to trim a little but no weight loss at all. Shape up your hips and butt by doing some exercises that help exercise large leg muscle groups. Swimming, aerobics and, yes, especially dancing will do this just fine.

In the gym:Work long sets and reps but not with larger weights. In the gym, use the smaller weights (or resistances) and do more sets and do 15-20 reps - not 10-12 reps with heavier weights. This will allow your body to make for longer muscles (endurance) and nut bulky muscles.

@chai2,
Furthermore, in the following link the chart shows teenage boys with OP age and build typical measurements, which are quite in-line with OP measurements (not 30 inch hips).

@jespah,
Brilliant video and very funny comment. BTW, I watched Shakira. What a turn-on. Now that's a healthy REAL woman..and she has a voice and talent. Hips don't lie....is an understatement!

So I'm voting for her as the next Presidential candidate. I found myself praying...that Wyclef just disappeared.

@jespah,
What a beautiful flexible spine she has!

The shots of her back, breathtaking!

She has one of the most beautiful backs I've seen. A large part of her hip movements come from that wonderful spine.

I will watch that for inspiration, thanks jes.

Please clarify if you want a real answer. Your photo and measurements indicate a female, but you write you are a male. Is this a language problem or a self-perception problem? Do you feel like a boy in a girl's body? You wouldn't be the first.

@Green Witch,
Josi is on to a new thread as his focus shifted. His query now is desert island apparel.

By the way, go to the first post and click on Josi's name, you'll get a larger version of the avatar pic--then come back here and tell me that's a boy . . .

actually, most of her shimmies come from hip and knee interplay

her shimmies wouldn't look nearly as good if her back/spine were involved

@ehBeth,
Oh yeah, the shimmies are different, fer sure.

I'm talking about when there's footage of her actual back. You can see the spine undulating like a snake.

Also, the spot where she's sitting in a chair and her chest is moving around in big free circles? There's a lot of freedom in her rib cage. She's not just throwing here bust (I said bust Smile) around. She using a lot of different muscles and tendons.

I know you realize it ebeth, but I don't think a lot of people realize many of her movements come from various layers, many deep within her body.

It seems so many of us are so accustomed to just moving the surface.

@chai2,
I think I'm a boy. My "bust" has increased and waist decreased since 2011.
