@Cycloptichorn,
Is "Poopy-Head" his middle name? I hadn't realized that, I guess...

Nope, Romney lost all three....showing yet again that voter sentiment is "anyone but Romney"....

I was saying it as early as Sep...the GOP has their head up their ass, they have no clue where the American people are as we can tell by the fact that so many of those who fund the GOP thought that Romney was the guy who could bring home the bacon....Romney, they same shape shifter who is a well known loser who the American people have previously rejected. At this point the GOP primary is meaningless, as surely some top tier conservative will realize that Obama is easy to knock off and the GOP official candidates are 2nd-3rd rate and thus irrelevant and so will run as a third party candidate...and will win.

Do you get a kick out of calling him "Willard?"

Why not try "Poopy-Head," it might give you a bigger thrill.

Well, it IS his name. His first name, even.

But you call people what they want to be called. Calling Romney "Willard" is in the same category as writing "Barack Hussein Obama"; technically correct but clearly meant to ridicule. There are plenty of legitimate reasons to criticize Romney without calling him names, even if it is his name.

@hawkeye10,
Tweet from Philip Klein (conservative commentator): "To be clear, I still thinks Romney will win the nomination. But, if he can lose Colorado, he can lose almost anywhere"

@sozobe,
Romney smoked McCain in Colorado in 2008 and he spent serious money there this time around so Colorado seems like a canary in the mine for the Republicans. Still it seems like the only people happy this morning are very right conservatives and Democrats. If you are a run of the mill Republican, you can't be especially happy about where your party is going with this nomination process.

@engineer,
I think Minnesota is more important, there.

I do think it's more in the category of "message to Romney" than "we think Santorum is awesome," but that's a good thing.

That's been a pattern so far -- people dislike Romney enough that when he starts looking too inevitable they pivot to someone else (the choice of "someones" has narrowed considerably). But then when he looks like he's really in danger -- and when it looks like one of those "someones" might actually win -- they go back to Romney.

If current trends hold up, that would mean an extended race (not a slam-dunk for Romney) but Romney as the nominee at the end.

Let's just for a second put aside everything but pleasant news regarding last night's results. that ******* idiot Newt seems to be on the way out. If he keeps acting the ass he may be out permanently (in politics) after this election cycle and that should make us all pause, let out a breathe and smile, if only for a moment.

@Frank Apisa,

It's true that people dislike Romney, but it's also true that these
same people like Romney much more than they like Obama.

You're a bit too fixated on the Republican primaries, H2. SOME of the people who dislike Romney also dislike Obama--they're right-wingers, and they're a small minority of American voters. The large majority of people who dislike Romney are Democratic voters and independents, who do like Obama and constitute the majority of voters in the country.
