No, that's big business exploiting small business. Those same self employed people he's reaching out to are the people he stiffs in real life. His presidency won't be any different, bring back jobs to Detroit when there's so much money to be made outsourcing? Really, you honestly think he'll do that? A presidency is just for 4-8 years, a business empire is for life.

Nope, as Walter pointed out, the future Queen of England, Kate Middleton (according to the latest gossip she will be Queen because Camilla gets drunks and screams at Prince Charles, never liked her after Princes of Diana's death anyway, hope she doesn't get rewarded) wears pants, and she has nice legs.

There's no legal reason why Charles and Camilla can't be the next king and queen. And considering how desperate he's been to be king I can't see him stepping aside.

Doesn't Queen Elizabeth have to name her successor? Anyway, you would probably know best, it is just what I read on the society pages. It doesn't really matter to me, no one will replace Princes Diana in any event.

I'm not as engrossed in monarchy - and the followup matter of social class/aristocracy - as I am in the matter of presidency, which grips my brain with tentacles lately.

But, somewhere back in time I was mildly interested in Charles going on and on about architecture, an interest of my own. I was always rattling on about it in Early Stage A2K. I could imagine being in his odd position re the monarchy and wanting to butt in on that. Not that I would agree with him on those interests (I forget his opinions by now) - just that it was a wisp of interest about people called Prince..

Of course, I have liked our Prince better.

Gooey has a tendency to hold contradictory positions. Trump hired the lowest bidder and then tried to welsh on a deal for $27,000 but will have no problem whatsoever anteing up $300k. He says he stands for the middle class but screws them all the time over money he contracted to pay - he's got literally hundreds of actions filed against him. When will the mooks who support him finally get it?

There's a hierarchy, a pecking order so to speak. Last time we had monarchs naming successors we had the Wars Of The Roses.

Even so, Liz's reign has been spent avoiding controversy and I doubt her death would be any different.

It's not like that many people care anyway. Having a royal family is like having a rail system, only a few people go nuts about it.

The thing is there is a huge discontented group. The same lot over here who voted for Brexit. They keep getting told things are getting better but they don't see it, they're either unemployed or holding down a load of jobs. They're not too concerned about things getting worse things are pretty bad as it is.

What gets me is that those people are pinning all their hopes on someone with a track record of sticking it to the little guy.

It drives me nuts!!!!
