He should not be talking to anyone for military advise right now as it is much too early to talk about any plans on restructuring the force. This looks like a poor question, a better one would have been " Who are your foreign policy advisors right now?".

Also, slate has a piece out talking about how Trump is the only one on the R side who is talking specifics on much of anything.

Come on BOB, making yourself look clueless cant be a good time. Maybe you should talk less and listen more.

Bernie Sanders blasts Donald Trump as “an embarrassment for our country”

Sanders says Trump's "slurring of the Latino community is not something that should be going on in the year 2015"

SOPHIA TESFAYE

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders has had it with Donald Trump and comparisons of his campaign to that of the billionaire mogul and GOP frontrunner.

The Vermont senator told the New York Times Magazine that he not only disagreed with Trump’s views on immigration but that he found Trump’s entire campaign to be an embarrassment. Asked by Ana Marie Cox in a short interview what he thought of “Trump’s surge in the polls,” Sanders responded, “not much.” Sanders went on to slam Trump as an “embarrassment for our country,” citing his “slurring of the Latino community”:

I think Donald Trump’s views on immigration and his slurring of the Latino community is not something that should be going on in the year 2015, and it’s to me an embarrassment for our country.

Sanders and Trump briefly crossed paths this weekend at the Iowa State Fair, where presidential candidates from both sides of the aisle visited the famed Soapbox and chowed down on a variety of fried delectables. “I apologize, we left the helicopter at home. It’s in the garage,” Sanders joked, mocking Trump’s splashy appearance at the fair via helicopter (the billionaire offered free rides to children and told them he was Batman.)

Dismissing the American voter is par for the course with Sanders, a largely failed politician. Dismissing a successful businessman is too, and trump will surely take and then run with any attacks upon successful capitalists, to include himself. The American people are pissed at the politicians, we are pissed with the elite, we are pissed at the theft of our freedom by the wealthy, but we still appreciate success at capitalism.

You see with Sanders attack on capitalists why he will not get far, as he never has, Hillary is not stupid enough as to do that.

I know you are stupid so let me give you a lesson.....before you can claim an argument fails you have to point out and document why. Just saying that it is wrong is a useless opinion. We deal with facts and truth here.

Please get with the program, I would like to see A2K get better, which requires that people who have a poor grasp of reality either need to get better, or leave.

Apparently Donald Trump does not feel it's necessary to discuss national security with the Joint Chiefs, because he hears everything he thinks he needs to know via television. I feel elated, perhaps a superficial, slogan spewing idiot is what this country needs to wake up.

'The senior military people are not going to be talking to candidates for a very long time. They are not allowed to be political, and they have work to do. A retired officer maybe, but it is pretty early for even that.

From an alleged intelligence expert this was a shockingly uninformed post.

Nate Silver on Donald Trump's surge: "That's just because he's on TV all the time. Most of the real voters aren't paying attention yet. They have lives."

Is the media having a Trumpgasm? Cool

Obviously negated because we know for a fact that so many people are willing to take time out of their lives to go hear Bernie Sanders. What you see here is the elite making excuses for why their people are losing. THey will continue till the cows come home, for delay and pray is their only option.

Donald Trump’s position paper on immigration is full of old anti-immigration arguments that have been repeated and rebutted numerous times. These arguments were incorrect long before he wrote them here. Trump’s position paper is a most similar to Sessions's op-ed. There is very little in it that is new—either as a policy prescription or as a justification

Ya, but Trump lit a fire. His plan will not happen, but it would be good to have a president fighting for that plan. This nation has turned anti illegals and the idiot left has not noticed. Just a year or two ago they were trying to push a turkey of a "lets be nice to illegals" bill. Trump might ride his "bash the illegals" platform far.

I always figured trump was mostly circus, but now IDK. I am super impressed with some recent events. Somebody did a story on this in the last two days....Trump might be our Putin. I am increasingly thinking he is going to win the R primary. There is a chance Trump is good enough to bury Hillary, she is already hemorrhaging. The D's put up only Hillary, the R's get lazy and put up 20 nobodies, and that son of a bitch Trump takes the POTUS chair!

Aha...another of your many threads that will allow you one day to link to something that verifies damn near anything that happens...as something you predicted would happen.

Sorta like running to the head of a mob...and claiming leadership.

Would a revolutionary do that?

no, I was pretty exclusionary on what I think will happen. And I have moved far on trump in the last month, I never gave him a serious thought till these last few weeks. If things go at this rate in a couple of months I will tell you that trump is your next president, and that i am sure golf is going to be a hoot for a few years as your buddies are all trump all the time.

@hawkeye10,
If this guy trump is not careful he might ride " I am the only one who will tell you the truth" all the way to the POTUS chair. What exactly he would want to do is almost irrelevant, we will vote for him with glee.
