@NAACP,
I'd say you write like Dr. Suess. Congrats.

@Ceili,
Thanks, but I really don't need any praise from anyone but myself, as(just like anything else) praise from another is susseptible to error.

@kickycan,
James Fenimore Cooper

Literary scholar Leslie Fiedler, however, noted that Cooper's "collected works are monumental in their cumulative dullness."

Inconsiderable truth

@NAACP,

Why would you ever want to waste time?

Secondly I think it's stupid to try and find out who you "write like". YOU write like YOU.(Novel concept I know) You shouldn't want to be anything but original.

do you believe that anyone here is taking this seriously, it's a fun diversion, plus some might have been introduced to an author they previously didn't know, for someone who enjoys his own counsel so much you sure do pass judgment on others pretty easily

perhaps you and you could discuss that

@kickycan,
OK, so I posted a random chunk of my A2K writing (from the You & Your Neighbours thread) ...
... & received the fastest analysis possible! It took them only 20 seconds!

And guess what?: I write like Margaret Atwood! Surprised
Oh wow.
(I was fearing the Dan Brown verdict. Don't know if I could have coped with that.)
I feel so honoured.
I LOVE Margarets' writing!

The folk at this site were obviously mightily impressed by my contribution.
I received this response from them immediately.
Fame at last!!!! Very Happy Razz :

Great job! Do you want to get your book published?

@msolga,
I submitted another piece of writing & this time I write just like Douglas Adams! (Hitchhikers Guide ...)

(So, OK, it's been a rather quiet, uneventful afternoon.
Not much going on here today. Wink )
