We all will die one day. Every time this occurs to me, I feel depressed

Every time this occurs to me, I feel depressed. I don't want to do anything. I am demotivated. Why do we have to struggle so hard? After all, we all will die several decades later. One is an exception, no one can escape. I feel life is so meaningless and bleak and chilly. So sad!

@stevenya,
i think you should see a counsellor, about quite a few things. We're not qualified to help you.

interesting, the fact that we'll all die someday is the only thing that keeps me going, every time i hear some new report that claims science might be able to keep us alive for ever, i start panicking

My dead friend, Neil, died 12 times in the Veterans' Hospital in Las Vegas.
He was in good spirits.

Every time you hear some new report that claims science might be able to keep us alive for ever, you start panicking? Really? I can't believe it. You like death?

@stevenya,
i'm not looking to die before hand, but a lifetime (say 70+ years) is plenty long enough for me

@Mame,
I think Mame is correct. You are seriously depressed and cannot manage your own life. It could be an important reason as to why women do not show interest in you. You should look into treatment.

Haha, I was very positive before her rejection. I am only depressed after her rejection.

What is the specific problem with living forever ?????

If there is afterlife, I will kill myself right now.

Thay kept bringing him back in the hospital.
(I think thay were embarrassed that their diagnostic treatment killed him.)

He was joking about it; (good sense of humor).

@OmSigDAVID,
i don't want to have to work for hundreds of years, and you'd have to if you live that long, only a very few folks get to retire at 30 and live 40+ years without working, most get twenty or so at best, if we lived to be say, 900 years, you want to work for 650 or 700

not me

only one way i'd do it, provide me with sustenance, and digital books, movies, put me in a space craft and shoot me to the stars, that might be worth living a long time for, other wise, my idea of a lifetime is is enough for me, leave the rest of time for others, very unselfish ( Wink ) of me i know, but it's how i feel
