@ibstubro,

Are you sure that wasn't the Americans? Darryl Hickman was in that. He was also in the Many Loves of Dobie Gillis with his brother Dwayne. Darryl played Dobie's older brother.
@Intrepid,
I recalled the title wrong, but it was The Americans, a Civil War based series
@edgarblythe,
I find that I am remembering shows that I had long forgotten.
77 Sunset Strip
"Kookie Kookie Lend me your comb"
(From a record, not the show)
@Intrepid,
Post them!
I was born in '61, so I believe that Dobie was about out of syndication during my peak TV years. My Favorite Father and some others had the same fate. Hazel and Patty Duke were transitional and we watched them a lot.
Adventures in Paradise
Gardner Mckay
Alfred Hitchcock Presents
Disneyland (the original Walt Disney show that presented Davy Crockett, among many other shows, both original and retreads)
The Millionaire (I believe starred Marvin Miller)
Death Valley Days (lasted so long it had a long string of hosts, beginning with The Old Ranger, but including Ronald Reagan)
@ibstubro,
A few more that I remember are:
Wagon Train
I Dream of Jeannie
I Spy
It Takes a Thief
Adam 12
Captain Kangaroo
Adventures of Robin Hood
American Bandstand
$64,000.00 Question
Make Room for Daddy
Ben Casey
Queen for a Day
Sugarfoot
Father Knows Best
Rifleman
Wyatt Earp
Johnny Yuma
Gilligan's Island (one everybody likely remembers)
Jackie Gleason had two or three shows, including The Honeymooners and I want to say, Show of Shows, but could be off on that. Gleason originated the role of Riley (The Life of Riley) but William Bendix played it in the successful run it had.

Oh yeah. The smart money was saying Disney would go bankrupt trying to build Disneyland. I was in the fifth grade in Orlando, Florida at the time. Little did we know.
@Rockhead,
Stranded on the toilet bowl
What do you do when you're stranded
And you don't have a roll ...

It was a time of great excitement for kids like me and Sam, who at the time, idolized anything Disney.
The Flip Wilson Show
-I loved Geraldine-
@edgarblythe,
I had never heard of this show until I followed the link to the intro, then I realized that I watched it all the time as a kid! lol Funny how memory works, and shows why we like A2K!
I am trying to recall if Phil Silvers starred in The Phil Silvers Show, or if it was called Sgt Bilco. He played a conniving Army man in it.
