either Region or AndyClubber.
Region has the Patriots tonight while Andy is picking the Jets.

@Ticomaya,
There's an outside possibility that Ben's nasal bones are not fractured, and that the cartilage merely became separated from the skull. But I doubt that.

Well, if his cartilage merely became separated from his skull he needs to tape it up and quit whining.

@Ticomaya,
My doubts were well-founded. Just heard that Ben is having surgery to repair his broken nose.

But he is expected to be back against the Bengals. His other injury could be more troubling (ankle?).

So I have NE while AndyClubber has the NYJ. A Jets win would give him the week here. I also picked against his beloved Steelers.
I want to warn yall that, if he wins this week, I have agreed to post a music video of his band. He is the singer.
Go, Patriots.

@mysteryman,
17-3 NE. It looks like you might be spared.
His band's (Bella Morte) cover of Earth Angel, though, is amusing.

@ehBeth,
Half time in the game; bed time for me.
I have a rule (for myself) about never ever calling a game until it is over.
But NE looks strong.

And a nod tonight towards Dan Meridith, who died over the weekend. He was a talented football player in college and in the NFL for Dallas. But many of us remember him most as the "aw, shucks" foil to Howard Cossell when the NFL launched Monday night football. Cossell came across as an old, Jewish, New York print writer with a grating voice and an inflated opinion of himself while Meridith was the innocent with a pure love of football. They were a perfect match.
They were responsible for Monday night football.

Week #13...was a very successful outing for us. As a group we were correct in 70% of our picks, not quite equaling Week #11 when we came in at 73%.
Region finished at 14-2 to win the week. He also won Week #11 when he was 15-1. Well played!
EhBeth, AndyClubber, BillW, Osso and JohnBoy followed at 13-3. Panzade, Cowdoc, LiontamerX, Ragman, Edgar and George ended at 12-4. Fbaezer, CoastalRat, Rhys, Ms Cowdoc, Spendius and JPB came in at 11-5. Alex and Tico went 10-6 with Lmur, McGentrix and Jespah at 9-7. Mysteryman broke even at 8-8.
The best ESPN expert was 14-2 while the worst was 9-7. CoinToss/CoinToss flipped his way to a record of 10-6.
Four weeks left. The schedule for Week #14 strikes me as being pretty easy.
