As much I love my Pats, their defense is far too many rookies and they got exposed. With playoffs looming, I cringe thinking about it.

@Ragman,
You not miscounting, but you're misconstruing. RJB said that LTX and I agreed on all picks. That's not true. You and I agreed on all picks. You and I both disagree with LTX on two picks. We're both 9-3.
Ahhh! That makes more sense now Thanks for that explanation. Sometimes I read too fast.
So you got the Steelers tonight. We might come down to a tie-breaker tonight? Let's see... I lost track. Is it down to us two in the lead at 9-3? Or is someone else in first?
Yea, I screwed this week up.
However, the Jets had to go to OT to beat the Lions,so that should count for something, shouldnt it.
Say...half a win?

The thing about how leading players here differ from each other was a new feature here. Still undergoing testing. I started to present it in a little matrix but switched to a narrative form at the last minute.
Spendius (11-1) will win the week. EhBeth is at 10-2. Both have the Steelers tonight.
At the other extreme (5-7) are Alex, Rhys, George, Mysteryman and Jespah.
Jespah is the only player here who is picking the Bengals tonight.
In the 2nd Thoughts Department, Mysteryman switched his pick from the Jets to the Lions (fumble!) and from the Falcons to the Bucs (fumble!). Ragman switched from the Chiefs to the Raiders (score!) while Osso went from the Chargers to the Texans and back to the Chargers (score!).

This coming week features a Thursday night game. I am posting the schedule a day earlier than usual. The rule requiring picks for all games to be in before the kickoff of the 1st game is waived.
Players are permitted to just pick the outcome of the Thursday game and come back before kickoff of the 1st game on Sunday to pick or change the rest of the schedule.

Some commentators mentioned Wade possibly getting fired, yesterday. One of them said, "When they fire a coach mid season, things always get worse."
"How could they get worse?" I said, watching the Cowboys play the worst game I ever saw them play. The owner must have asked the same question.
Does it breach "spirit of the game"-type ethics (or do they exist)?
