Rhys came back with his prediction on the final score between Houston vs Indy. He picks Houston 24-17.
I am needing picks from Panzade, the Cowdocs, Spendi, Edgar, Mysteryman and EhBeth.

It is a beautiful autumn day in the mountains of Virginia. The fall color is at its peak. I had to turn the heat on briefly in my house and will have to fire it up tomorrow when I go to the cabin to cover the NFL.
The University of Virginia does well in some sports (men's lacrosse and baseball and women's rowing) but we suffer in sports like football and basketball.
The University of Miami team just came roaring past my house with their police escort for their buses on their way to their hotel before getting on a charter flight home. A long flight home. The #22 ranked Hurricanes lost to the Cavaliers 24-19.
It helped that their QB got injured and replacements threw 5 interceptions.

Thanks, all. I am missing only EhBeth's picks in 2 games: Green Bay @ NY Jets and Seattle @ Oakland.
There are only 13 games this week which gives us fewer chances to screw up.
We speak with one voice in picking Kansas City over Buffalo and only Fbaezer has Miami over New England.
Three games are tossups: Miami @ Cincinnati (we have Miami 12-11); Tampa Bay @ Arizona (11-12) and Jacksonville @ Dallas (13-10).
On the 10 non-tossup games, Ms Cowdoc, McGentrix, Ragman and Johnboy agree with the majority on every game. At the other extreme is Alex who agrees with the majority on just 4 contests.
Amongst our leaders, JPB (#1) disagrees with LiontamerX (#2) and Spendius (#3) on 4 of the 13 games. LiontamerX and Spendius disagree on 4 also.

Brett Favre (ankle) may have his remarkable streak of starting at QB broken today. Or he could, perhaps, come in for just one play.

@realjohnboy,
If Miami beats New England this week, I think we should declare Fbaezer the all-time champion. By the way, is anyone watching the Jaguars and Cowboys, and is Dallas actually that bad?

@CowDoc,
Dallas is bad, particularly with Romo out for the season.

@CowDoc,
Yes, they're bad. I'd bet that at least 2 head coaches (Childer-ness and Wade Phillips) will be looking for work next season.

Jets better wake up soon ...missing some scoring opportunities. There's a real dog-fight for the top of AFC East.

I just checked out latest scores and saw Titans with 2 points. How is that done?

So far I am 5-1 with 1 game in OT. I hope I can continue to win this week.

@mysteryman,
As I have it through the 7 early games, Mysteryman and Alex are 6-1. Osso, George, Cowdoc and Rhys are 5-2.

@spendius,
When the defense tackles the offense in their own end zone (or, in this case, blocks a kick out of the end zone), it is known as a "safety" and scores two points for the team without the ball.
