@realjohnboy,
I havent watched any games today, been too busy.
But, since I picked San Diego to lose, that didnt hurt me to badly.
Even though I am a Charger fan, I am trying to win here, so I have to pick responsibly.

I'm getting into this game. All professional sport takes a lot of getting into. Men fighting over money under a set of humane rules, which the Christian message insists upon, is always interesting and difficult to understand the finer points of.

But 2 hours 40 minutes to play four fifteen minute quarters is a bit much. I suppose with Americans being such fascinating conversationalists the stopped clock time must pass quite smoothly and any frayed tempers are given time to defuse.

When you've half an hour to spare sometime, watch the last three minutes of
an NBA (basketball) game.

Spendius (11-2 with one game left) will win Week #6. Ms Cowdoc (10-3) is right behind but cannot gain as both players have Tennessee tonight.

We bounced back a bit in Week #6 from our really bad Week #5. We finished as a group with a batting average of .611. That is our high for the season so far.
Spendius won the week, going 12-2. He, like most of us, slipped up in picking San Diego over St Louis and Chicago versus Seattle. Well played!
He joins Ragman, Ragman, Edgar, JPB and Liontamerx as weekly victors.
Ms Cowdoc (11-3), Ehbeth, JPB and Panzade (all at 10-4) also had strong outings.
Liontamerx, McGentrix, AndyClubber, Jespah, Tico and Osso finished at 9-5. At 8-6 were CoastalRat, Cowdoc, Ragman and Johnboy.
Alex, Rhys, Lmur and Region broke even. Fbaezer, Edgar and George came in at 6-8.
And then there was Mysteryman who suffered through a 4-10 week.
The best ESPN guy went 10-4 while the worst was 6-8.

STANDINGS AFTER 6 WEEKS-
There is a nice battle going on at the top!
1) Ragman is at the top again (.611) but has to share the spot with
1) JPB
3) Liontamerx (.600) slips from 2nd
3) Spendius climbs from 5th. Lion and Spendi are just 1 game back
5) Tico (.589) drops down from 4th, but is just 1 more game back
5) Ms Cowdoc matches that and holds on to a share of 5th
7) EhBeth (.578) gives up 2 notches but is just 1 more game back
8) AndyClubber (.556) remains in 8th
8) Panzade moves up from 11th
10) McGentrix (.551) sticks to 10th
11) Jespah (.544) holds 11th
12) Edgar (.522) slumps from 8th
13) CoastalRat (.511) slips from 14th
13) Cowdoc matches that
15) George (.500) falls back 2 steps
15) Rhys drops by 1
15) Osso moves up by 4
18) Johnboy (.489) gains 1
18) Region stays in 18th
20) Lmur (.467) advances from 21st
20) Mysteryman tumbles from 14th
22) Fbaezer (.434) avoids the cellar again
23) Alex (.400) doesn't.

1) That is where the best ESPN guy would rank
20) The worst ESPN would be there.

Johnboy's picks. I have meetings this week with the hoteliers interested in building a hotel on my property. We talk, and talk and talk. Perhaps one of the four groups can figure out a way to make it work. For some reason the 100 room hotel will not be called The Johnboy Arms.
