Last night on Hannity and Colmes, Iraq war vet and VoteVets founder Jon Soltz debated Dan Senor, former senior adviser to Paul Bremer in Iraq. When Senor told Soltz ?you got to admit? progress is being made in Iraq, Soltz responded:
"When you were in Iraq, I believed you. I trusted you. Our soldiers needed your leadership. You told us weapons of mass destruction, we?ve turned the corner in Iraq. So I?m not going to sit here and be lectured by someone like you. I just can?t have that. I can be lectured by Gen. Petraeus, I can be lectured by our generals. But you spun me once, you spun me twice, you can?t spin me a third time."
Later, Soltz argued that recent ads by Freedom?s Watch are ?completely misleading? because there was ?no connection between 9/11 and Iraq.?
The soldiers ?have been misled by people like Dan Senor,? Soltz said.
@FedUpAmerican,
They are hoping if they say it enough, it will be true. Something like 43% of Americans polled still think Saddam was involved with 9/11. Sheeple will be sheeple.
@FedUpAmerican,
Including the ones that wore a uniform.

And the ones to scared to get out from behind their computers and fight the war they claim so much support for.
@FedUpAmerican,
Where are you sitting right now, LOL.

At work, you? Too bad I have actually been to war, making your comment...completely pointless, as always.
@FedUpAmerican,
At home, your boss know he pays you for chatting on the net? I bet he don't?
So again you admit that going to war entitles you to something? You are above a regular citizen?

Actually, he does. The war entitled me to a first hand, knowledgable opinion, unlike your biased opinions given to you by the MSM.

You didn't answer the question. "You are above a regular citizen?"

Simply putting one of your misused question marks after a sentence doesn't make it a question. Learn how to use punctuation, then maybe you will be able to communicate your ideas, and thoughts to people. And, my response did answer your "question", I have more first hand knowledge than anyone that hasn't been there. If you think that is "above" than you can play that ignorant game, or, you can take it for what it is.
@FedUpAmerican,
Heah, your the one that keeps playing higher then thou. Then you don't want to answer. For some reason you think that because you have been there my opinion is of less account. You think your better then someone who hasn't served. According to our Constitution, your wrong.
@FedUpAmerican,
You should go have a CT scan, make sure all the areas in your brain are functioning.
@FedUpAmerican,
I have had one. clean bill of health.
@FedUpAmerican,
92... you going to War makes you no better than those that did not. EOM

Is that another brilliant deduction from teh peanut gallery? I didn't say it did, learn comprehension. I did say that I have better idea of what's going on there since I have been there, and di not say it made me better. I know, it's easier attacking people instead of facts, they just sit there and stare you in the face.
@FedUpAmerican,
Go ahead, call me a chickenhawk again and mean it this time. Saying so implys what you really mean. You can give whatever excuse you like, don't change the intension. You think your status as citizen soldier give's you the right to call those who have not served but are pro current conflict, chickenhawks. Why you beating around the bush (pun intended).

What are your reasons for not serving in the war you so enthusiastically support again?
@FedUpAmerican,
First call me a chickenhawk.
On a second note, who would you be to ask that, A super citizen?

Too old? Disabled? Just don't want to, come on let us know.
@FedUpAmerican,
You got the balls to call us chickenhawks but not the balls to tell us what give's you the right?
