I take it you don't know too many black people, do you? More object to being called African-Americans than they do by being called black. In fact the whole "european-american" bit was something i heard from a black person, who thought it was silly to call black people "african-americans".

What do you call a black person from Africa, an "African-African"? What do you call a white person from Africa?
