I worked military intel for 18 years, at all levels. I worked extensively with CIA and DEA for about three years. I got the distinct impression the Government couldn't keep squat secret. Most of the 'sneaky-peeky' stuff you had to sign a hundred forms to see, and descend through ten refrigerator-like basement vaults to get to, showed information you had already read in the newspaper. It was the sources who were sensitive. The information itself was usually old-hat. Hollywood's gotta have something to steal ideas from after they get tired of ripping off the classics. Whatever creativity they had got sucked out of them when they drank the water.
