My focus was Central America during the 1980s to repel the FMLN in El Salvador, and then to fight narco-trafficking in South America in the first half of the 1990s. I also ran an organization that supported the training of Latin American military forces, including counter-insurgency units. Hardly 'dirty' work. Hell, the Sandinistas in Nacaragua got voted out of office a decade after taking power in 1979.
NO, SCOOBY, I DIDN'T ELECTROCUTE ANYBODY'S GONADS.
The capmpaign was still going stong in the 1980s pino, not just in El salvador, you ran an organistion that supported the training of Latin American military forces, that would be right-wing dictators like noriega and other facist dictators in latin-america.
By the way pino, dont you know Daniel Ortega and the Sandinista's won the 2006 election.
As for fighting narco-trafficking,we all know the US and the CIA worked with the drug traffikers to help fund the right-militias like the contras.
