You cut off the argument suddenly. The GOP was in control of Congress during the Clinton presidency, therefore your point about the lack of socialist policies is refuted. The thread began with an article about Clinton's socialist remarks, I don't see how you could say they have absolutely no socialist views.

Your national health service is just a title, or at best, a front-company. You're so broke from your socialism, you ration healthcare to the extent that you don't really provide it to anyone. Back in the 1990s, when for some strange reason I was getting an advanced degree in healthcare administration, we learned Canada had a whopping ELEVEN MRI machines, TOTAL, in the entire country. No wonder most Canuks who seriously needed to use one simply jumped across the border and ran to the nearest medium-sized, US city to do so without waiting in ANY line, whatsoever. I would take the NHS in the UK over your health system(or lack of ) for 50milion people,and even if you have health insurance,they might not always pay for it.
