Hill and Bill are both closet Marxists. Don't be fooled. They never outgrew their 1960s radicalism.

Reaganknight - going back to Kennedy, I do not admire any past president more that I do Ronald Reagan. Just wanted to say that.

@socalgolfguy,
No, I meant other Presidents in that group. Though most of the GOP presidents were okay.

@socalgolfguy,
Lyndon Johnson - now there was a leader - honestly, I hold him accountable for many of the problems we have today. Looking back, the worst period of civil unrest in this country's history occurred on his watch. Nixon might have been paranoid and Ford, more of a lovable oaf, but Jimmy Carter should hang his head in shame over his lack of spine when it came to Iran. Ronald Reagan gave us back our dignity - a sense that Clinton eroded through arrogance and manipulation.

@socalgolfguy,
Good analysis. I didn't want to say anything about Nixon or Ford in case you were a fan.

That's funny - I met Nixon in my 20's - he reached up and patted me on my 6'1" head like I was a little kid or something. It was very odd.

@socalgolfguy,
LOL... I actually did burst out laughing when I read that, just picturing it.

You're pretty lucky. Most famous politician I ever met was Bob Casey (current PA senator) and he's not all that famous. Don't like the guy either.
