I certainly would not call the clinton's socialist,maybe you do,but that is only to be expected from a right-winger :thumbdown:

This statement doesn't even come close to responding to the quote you used.

The Clintons are socialists working within a capitalist democracy. They can only realize their ideology to a very limited extent. Nonetheless, they're hardcore Lefties. If they had their way, we'd be living under Stalinism, with the Clintons and their cronies in charge, indefinitely.:no:

@socalgolfguy,
Scooby does not answer questions directly, generally. He skirts an answer with some quick jab to the groin and backs off waiting for another chance to throw a barb. It's rare that he will give a straight answer to any question posed. Watch - he'll have some terse comment for this.

Thats not true socal,your intepretation of a socialist or marxist is different from mine,the US is a conservative country and for decades has been completely paranoid about communism,so i doubt a socialist or marxist would ever be elected.

As for not answering questions directly,i give my opinion.

@socalgolfguy,
Quote:
Wow, I wonder who was in control of Congress during Clinton's presidency?

which you responded to by saying:

Quote:
Clinton inherited a massive trade decifit,and cleaned it up,dont sound like a commie to me

Which had nothing to do with the first quote.

BUt they are all connected,in the fact i dont think clinton is a marxist or socialist,a marxist or socialist would never be elected President in the first place.

You cut off the argument suddenly. The GOP was in control of Congress during the Clinton presidency, therefore your point about the lack of socialist policies is refuted. The thread began with an article about Clinton's socialist remarks, I don't see how you could say they have absolutely no socialist views.
