No.....I mean right-wing citizens, Scoob. Shouldn't The Nanny State deny them access to such dangerous weapons as vehicles? After all, some might actually be Nazis. Shouldn't they be investigated, de-programmed, re-educated, and made to take an oath of loyalty to The Nanny State in order to be able to drive?Very Happy

im sure they're are a lot of people,not just criminals,who shouldnt be allowed anywhere near a gun,especially ones that have a fondness,for fascist leaders !

Nonsense. Never happened. If anything, the UK backed him. Also, I'm going to report you to your Nanny State Thought Police. I suspect you're posting here without Big Brother's permission. Yeah.....I'm gonna turn you out, Karl Marx. For example, do you have a Nanny State Internet Permit? Is it current, with all the 2,002 bureaucratic stamps required? Have you divulged the content of your postings to your neighborhood political commissar? I bet you haven't. I bet you've fallen behind in maintaining your government paperwork. You're going down, Stalin. I mean way, way down there, to the depths of the GULAG ARCHIPELAGO. Pack your chit. Bring winter clothing, too. Very Happy

@Drakej,
Scoob, did the government give you your job? Did it decide for you what profession you'd work in, for the rest of your life? Does it give you clothing, shelter, food, and transportation? Is there a government camera in your house, maybe even in your bedroom? What time does the government wake you up every day? And what about your assigned bedtime? When is it? Has the government ever failed to provide with the things you need, such as soap and toilet paper? What do you use then? Just curious.

@Drakej,
Why would anyone object to private gun ownership by law abiding citizens, for their own protection? If anything, there should be mandatory classes in care and usage as part of the registration process. That would have a positive impact on accidental shooting deaths in the home, including the home owner under attack by a thug. Even Scoob should understand that.

If a gun owner refuses to register a weapon and is discovered by law enforcement, then the weapon should be confiscated by the police until the owner is certified and the gun returned, or incarcerated for weapons violations if found to be on some watch list or has a criminal past.

That's why I mentioned mandatory classes as part of the gun registration process. That will surely weed out a vast majority of the dangerous ones. If they do not wish to register and are found to be undesirable, then off they go. Further on that, the fact that they did not register would add to their incarceration. Now all we have to do is build more prisons and have the government hire more guards - hire the illegals to build the prisons, then throw them in - satisfies the liberals with the hiring and pleases the conservatives with the confinement.

@Drakej,
I'm against gun registration. Americans have a duty to arm themselves against tyranny. When Scooby's and Aaronson's Nanny State comes for my kids, Bible, crucifix, American flag, and family heritage, I will die fighting it. And I plan to take as many Commie-Islamo-Fascist bastards as I can with me.

Yeah...market the construction of massive prison boats. Hire nothing but illegals. Have them build them, then lock them up inside, and take them back to wherever. Then send the boats to the Middle East, fill them up with Islamo-Fascist prisoners, then sink them, on the high seas. Start the whole process over again, ensuring all profits go to the media and Halliburton, thus cancelling out all whining. Very Happy

@Drakej,
So yeah... What happened to this thread? Since when did gun control become building prisons with illegals and then sinking ships?
