Really, by what standards? Why is it so much worse than wars over land, political ideologies, ethnicity, or etc?

And I hope you're not saying the Crusades' only purpose was a religious war. Even so "religious wars" can be justified just like any other.

The reason why? What is there to gain from a holy war but a body count? At least when people fight over something tangible it helps somebody in the long run. A holy war is essentially killing someone because they hold different beliefs than you.

That's not what needs justification. What needs justification is a centuries old war between two religions, bent on wiping each other out... (here's the part that needs justification) over whose teacher of peace is superior and over a place called the holy land.

It needs more than justification... it needs logic.

Not sure... probably something to do with Israel, given your stance and lack of desire to elaborate on your position concerning support for Israel.

Does every human being on earth have to care about Israel?

That depends entirely on several factors. Enemy/Civilian kill ratios, population density, fallout range, mid-air detonation versus direct land impact.

I was assuming you meant nuking the entire ME.

That is not the definition of a religious war. A religious war is a war having to do with religion, which can mean religious persecution.

If you base the two religions on their current followers... Muhammad was as peaceful as Jesus.

According to Israel, yes.

Wow, no. Nuking one person is the definition of overkill. Thorough, but... damn.

I'm certain that if you were to take recordings of Jeremiah Wright, Rod Parsley, Jerry Falwell, Osama bin Laden, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, Pat Robertson and John Hagee... and played them at the same time across your screen... you'd probably start to see some similarities.

Religion whatever is the evil of this world. It must be destroyed.

They attacked our land. Destroy them.

The government of whateveristan is corrupt.

Religion whatever is false.

We are the true chosen people.

Attack me and you attack everyone else who believes like I do.

Nation A needs to rise up and strike back at Nation B.

Leader whoever is evil, we need to take him out.

Those are things you will hear from almost every single one of them in one form or fashion. I'm serious, try it.

Face it, there are as many wackos in your backyard as there are in the funny sounding guy's yard across the street.

Words = Intent

Isn't that why Iraq was invaded because of their intent?

Only reason the Christian wakos aren't going around killing people is because of the law and order you have. Not so long ago people were burnt at the stake and other religous minorities persecuted by christians remember your history lessons?

Time to point neocon guns at neocons.

As Nump said, words = intent. Do we want to wait for "the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud?", or are the four letters INRI enough to make you... overlook... the fox in your own henhouse?

And what a job they do! Man, that "Middle East" area has just been catapulted into the cutting edge of civilization since religion took over!

Are you happy occupying a country on the premise they posessed terrible weapons, yet none were found?
