Deep down, true Lefties are Marxists. Marxists are atheistic. Karl Marx hated religion, and dubbed it 'the opiate of the masses'. Christians should never trust Communists, and that includes those who sneak around under the cover of 'Socialist'.

That's got to be the stupidest thing I've read here.

Hitler opposed atheism, so that must mean all right-wingers are really fascists, including those who hide under the guise of being a "moderate".

I'm sure you'll agree with my infallible reasoning. :FU1:

I'm glad you said it, and not me....Christ wouldn't even recognize these religious fanatics, who hate on everybody who is not like them, and want to do away with everyone that doesn't look like them (notice I said "look"...because what goes on behind closed doors, only comes out later, when they have to go before the cameras and offer up apologias, and confess to God, "Lord, I have sinned, and am not worthy to come to your table"....like God didn't figure that one out on His own...then they are "re-born", again...and again...
You know, I read somewhere that guilt serves no purpose, other than to set you up to do whatever it is you're gonna do, again, once you have paid enough in penance. So the trick is to do whatever it is you do, and be honest about it, accept the consequences of your actions, and move on...Once this is done you'll either get out of agreement with whatever it is you're doing, or you will continue to do whatever it is, because you're at choice in the matter.

@Red cv,
Yes food banks are bad, the Salavation Army funds detox centers, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, homes for unwed mothers, women's shelters, the list is endless of the awful hateful work of Christians. Now lets move on to the left or dems, they demand that taxpayers pay for all the above. You see the difference, one side gives their time and money the other side demands that we give our money to fund their socialist utopia of equality for the weak lame and lazy. What's truly galling is the dems are low to middle income earners and they know their taxes won't be raised ergo it effects them not. While those who are high income earners are suppose to pay for the utopia lifestyle. The high income earners paid to educate themselves and have earned their wealth and lifestyle the socialist want what we have without the investment, hardwork and skills. Stay strong Americans, socialism is a silent and deadly STD.

Specious. Very specious. Hitler believed in a vague sense of Germanic spirituality, which he felt he possessed. He never refined the concept beyond that broad sketch. BUT....he definitely did NOT believe in God. He was a strict materialist, existentialist, if you will. He looked forward to death, which he anticipated as 'eternal peace'. His obsessions were the annihilation of the Jews, and the resurrection of German Empire -- The Reich. He expected nothing after death. Now thank me for not reporting you for abuse.

Most certainly Hitler said he believed in God. His actions of coarse prove that he knew little about what God wants from human kind. But he used God as a excuse for what he was doing often.

Hitler was raised Catholic and often excused his extermination of Jews by making a speech that after all these people were the killers of God.

Hitler often spoke about the German people being favored by the creator of the universe.

Hitlers writings are full of references to a God , supreme creator who was behind the German efforts to segregate the races.

Hitler's religious beliefs and fanaticism ,,,, Selected quotes about his religious beliefs from Mein Kampf a interesting read

Adolf Hitler religious beliefs - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia A more in depth article explaining from many angles his religious beliefs.

Pinochet men using God as a excuse for waging war like Hitler did, does that remind you of anyone else in modern times?:dunno:

Personally, I don't want the government taking ANY of my money, but I'd rather have it go to poor AMERICANS, than the neocons giving it to **** Iraqis.

And that is as close as I can come to making a positive statement about democrats without having to find the nearest chemical sanataion station.

Yes....he did all of that while running for Chancellor in 1933. I've acknowledged that all along. AFTER he became supreme dictator, he unleashed his despicable atheism when appropriate. Members of his inner circle knew from the beginning he was a vicious social Darwinist of the Germanic line. I believe he even attacked Christianity in Mein Kampf, which he published after being released from prison in the '20s. My memory is somewhat frail, so I can't be certain of that.

I've noticed several posters who are left leaning or liberals have nothing but contempt for Christians and Religion. Why, I'm curious where this hatred stems from? Also they claim the moral high ground yet they don't appear to stand for anything. So what is the cause of this hatred? I'm curious about the origins of their hate and loathing.

My disdain towards most Christians stems from the fact that they spend so much time pushing their beliefs on everyone else. We don't want gays marrying... make a law! Abortion? BAD! Change the law! Evolution? **** that mess! Change it!

Sounds quite familiar... like... Islamic extremists.

Take a look at the VAST majority of Christianity's history... from the Crusades (wonder why they hate us?) to the Inquisitions, witch hunts (funny thing... the Puritans came to America to avoid religious persecution, yet did a hell of a lot of it themselves!), book burnings, abortion clinic shootings, the list is just a hair under 2000 years old.

If you want to understand the origins of the discord towards organized religion, look at the origins of organized religion itself.

You'd better hush, truth! Well-said !
These "so-called " Christian crusaders ( I call them nut cases) are acting just like the radical Islamists, who want to make the world a Islamic nightmare...the Christian right would enact the same, from their point of view.
There is no difference....God, in Christ, said go out and "preach" the gospel...he didn't say slay people with it....force it down their throats, and persecute people if they don't subscribe....but that is precisely what is being done.

The icing on the cake is Jesus and Muhammed were prophets of the same god. Ever wonder why it's the "Holy Land" and not "Lands"? They were both prophets and teachers of peace. Therefore all the conflict and war is over... whose teacher of peace is right?!

You can't make this stuff up.

Good post Sabz and I agree . Too often we christians forget to hate the sin but love the sinner. You cannot legislate morality and the behavior of most christians turns unbelievers away .

I try real hard not to be that type of Christian.

@Sabz5150,
Keep spreading the truth as you have posted here.

I personally believe this is all the lies of Satan . He has managed to turn the muslims and Christians against each other and done a good job of it too. When they really should be on the same side.

But ignorance plays a role in it too . I talk to people all the time who call themselves christians but do not know that muslims revere the words of Jesus too. And they seem to think the muslims are praying to some alien under world God instead of the same God they pray to.

But mostly I am pretty sure this is the work of Satan.

Oh, but you can see from these boards, that these "holier-than-thou" types, are the worst of the lot....they can tell you how damned "you" are, but only God and themselves know the skeletons in their own closets...far worse than you or I could imagine....yet, they will quote you scripture upon scripture...where it says that they are more righteous than you are, and seeing that the Bible isn't available to each and everyone, take it upon themselves to "educate" you and I, as to the word of God....just like the words are coming from His very mouth...His spokespersons! They must really be special, to get that assignment.
To think that I have to get the word drilled into my skull by them!
I reject it, out of hand....nobody has a better hookup...we all have equal access. In fact, if God can be "pissed", I think that pisses him off more than most stuff. God don't need no proxy. Least of all, people on this board.

@aaronssongs,
I have exactly the opposite experience than yours Aaron.

I find most of the holier than thous really do not know the bible well at all.

They know a few catch phrases they have heard since childhood and repeat them often.

But they really do not know the Holy Scriptures at all.

Funny we see this so different isn't it?

You don't have to try to not be that type of Christian... try not to be that type of person. Hatred and intolerance spans all cultures and beliefs. Just be a good person, help people out, use your turn signal, etc. Once we all catch onto that, you will see our civilization as a whole truly shine.
